I love Toby Keith. The first song I ever heard from him was I love this bar. My love of modern country goes back to my grandmother. She is currently in a nursing home for dementia and Alzheimer’s and is 91. Is there anyway that you could play or do a video for some Tennessee Ernie Ford song I don’t know but that was her favorite country artist that she used to listen to a Chicago radio station called US 99 all the time. Also have you done a video for honkytonk u?

It's a great song. And, if you ever saw Toby, you'd know how big a guy he is and he's capable of kicking ass. But, Willie Nelson has sung a duet with almost EVERY well-known artist regardless of genre. His sons are stepping up and singing now. I have always known Willie Nelson with long hair, usually in braids but I do remember him as a redhead. My grannie (and I wish I had it) had an album of this clean cut, hair cut was short and neat, he was wearing what appeared to be a black & white suit, but the picture was black and white. He had one of those skinny ties. The name of the artist wasn't on the front of it so, being lazy, I just said "Grannie, who's this guy?" Her response shut me up longer than usual, which is usually 15-30 seconds, especially back in the beginning of puberty days, because she said "that's Willie Nelson", I said, "no way", but hormones had not made me dumb enough to argue with my grannie. So, then I flipped it over and, of course, it was WN. But, pretty sure it wasn't country music, maybe gospel. I will do so research and send you what I find. If I ever leave a link, it's not to request a song, it's just to give you a little more information about something you mentioned in your video. Anyhow, definitely listen to "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" by Big & Rich. Yesterday was Elvis's birthday. Today is mine. Parents, if you have a Christmas baby, try not to forget about their birthday. Mine was forgotten frequently. And, 3 people remembered today. I'm still sick, so it shouldn't still hurt, but it does, juvenile of me, I know. But, being told that you'd probably not see 50, makes every birthday a big day to me. So, today was #54! Would you please play, "This Time Lord You Gave Me a Mountain" by Elvis. I know you have your songs lined up already, but maybe this week?

Fun fact: Giving beer to horses was not an uncommon practice long ago in places where both heat and humidity were high. Anhidrosis is condition causing a horse to either not sweat or not sweat enough, and is brought about after a hard ride in conditions of high heat and humidity. Such might be the case after chasing down bad guys on a hot, late August day somewhere in Missouri for example. Beer is believed to provide yeast and vitamin B to help alleviate Anhidrosis. So, whiskey for the posse, and beer for the horses was at one time not far-fetched at all!

Willie's smile at 5:39!! 😂 The *best!!* Fun fact about this video, when the director asked Willie if he wanted real whisky or not for the video, Willie replied, "What do you think?" (It's his personal brand that they're drinking. Old Whiskey River. )

Notice that "Parker Lewis" from the TV show "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" it was a Ferris Bueller clone TV show, (aka Corin Nemec), and also from Stargate SG-1 was in it? The movie that was made of this starred Toby Keith, Rodney Carrington, Willie Nelson, Gine Gershon, and others. It was kinda straight to DVD, but it was pretty funny. The music video was different from the theme in the movie, but not by much.
