Eddy Raven is still one of the best voices in Nashville. The Nashville Music Community should be ashamed that Raven has never been inducted into The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame or The Grand Ole Opry. Call it stupidity, politics, whatever. Induct the Man!

Eddy Raven is one of my all time favorite country artists from the 80's, and he sounded great together with Toby here! I never realized it til now, but you can definitely tell that Eddy's music was a big influence on Toby. You can hear also hear Earl Thomas Conley's (another 80's country icon) influence in a lot of Toby's earlier music, as well.

I was a huge fan of Eddy's long before my family connection with him. Got to meet him when I was in 10th grade while he toured with Alabama. They played in Savannah & it was amazing for me!!

Pretty good harmony on the fly. I saw Eddy Raven in concert at the Melody Ranch in Waco, Texas. He was awesome. I was right in front of the stage. I bought him tequila all night. Damn I got drunk. Good times!

I wonder if he still has that ol bumper pull ? I saw him on The Mountain in Canton Texas . Made a fan outta me ! it was July maybe . Hotter than hell ! He working the crowd perfectly ! June Bugs kept flying into him all night long ! lol He's a class act Cajun. I Knew all the songs but didn't really know who he was . I'm a fan now !

Thank you so much for posting this. Eddy's got family in Georgia too. They spent some time there when he was in high school. He was in my mother's class & is my step father's cousin. They keep in touch but I haven't seen him in years. I never knew til recently how connected he is to Toby Keith although I always thought How Do You Like Me Now sounds like one of Eddy's songs. I am so tickled to see this!
