Toby was great but that era F150 2004-10 was the worst. The previous generation (1997-04) is one of THE best F150 runs.

Ford didn't get a bailout, they received a loan, 23 billion. Just months after Chevrolet asked for a loan since they were in bankruptcy but due to the rapid downfall of the countries economy they couldn't get one so in stead they got a bail out, I love my ford but don't get me wrong they were both in equal amount of trouble requiring the same amount of money ford just was able to get to the bank first...first come first serve situation

actually Alan Mulally sold off Jaguar, Volvo, Aston Martin, Land Rover, etc. to get cash to save Ford from having to take government money. And Ford restructured (and according to the book I read - GM used Ford's ONEFORD plan to restructure GM - Ford was much smarter and didn't let themselves get into the same situation as GM.
