So dramatic. Wild and controlled at the same time. Beautiful. Thank you for the magnificent music, and the remote tour of the wonderful Abbey Church.

Chapeau!

Hallo Herr Stamm, hope everything is alright with you in these pandemic times. I´m a Mexican OldCatholic priest, we talked long ago by these means. It´s nice to hear you came to Mexico in 2014 it was a pity I couldn´t be present at a concert of yours. I was wondering why did you called "Toccata Mexicana" to this work. When I read your explanation about the Aztec drums rythm I suddenly understood everything. You´re a privileged and manygifted Master. I´m your fan and my favourite work is your CHRISTUS DER HIMMLISCHE PHÖNIX... Stay well, many blessings...

Dear Miguel, thank you a lot for your message. The world can be so small and we can connect so easily! I appreciate that you love my Phoenix cantata, which is my main choral work, but unfortunately only known by a few. Yes, I had heard a shaman play on his drums which inspired me. In Mexico I saw the two groups dancing, the concheros and the typical Mexican dressed guys. This fitted to the two themes I have in the piece. Here in this recording you see, that even the tempo fits more or less to the dancing rhythm. Many blessings for you too and we all hope that the "plandemic" hype will end soon.

Gut gespielte, schwere Komposition.
