thank you! i don't really know, i kind of just took it from this video where the guy from pierce the veil was playing it solo and just played it similarly. but the slapping is definitely an essential part to the strumming pattern.

Yea i actually listened to that first and then stumbled upon the original. I actually like the original better though even though I crash u crash is good as well.
