I was a stereophile back in the day but at 68,I am long out of the game. You are doing a great service to those who have not entered the digital world. I no longer have a turntable or Stereo unit and do mostly CDs and MP3s on the pc. I still have a few rarities from back in the day but keep them as mementos more than day to day listening.

You're doing a great job my friend I'm proud of you too bad the old alcohol treatment didn't work on that old Sony double deck I have that exact Kenwood tuner and some other equipment from the yesteryears like a 1972 Marantz 2220 and a circa( 1975 ) Nikko /STA 4010 🎉❤ and many other Marantz and other vintage hi fidelity

I got some of the Sade records and original first press johnny Mathis records for free, I have a really cheap pioneer record player but I will be saving up for a better one. I got 117 records for free I'm grateful.

Do you ever upgrade older speakers with better parts? I want to on ny vintage bookshelf bostons,The only thing ive done is to remove the foam,greatly improved the midrange!,Try it

I don’t I keep the original unless it’s damage and there’s many good speakers out there to buy,If it’s gonna cos you more money to upgrade if your old speakers still good you don’t have to upgrade but it’s up to you
