Hey the mgs1 remake does suck for those kind of reasons. The original had maggots flies ect. Less stale in the effects department. It may sound silly but originals sometimes have the right ambience and eerieness that goes missing later on.

This is really hitting me in the nostalgia , Back then there was no DLC , No Micro transactions , no Loot boxes , no buggy games , no lazy garbage , boring ass games , No disrespectful dump developers that pushes an agendas , Still to this day i play My PS1 and PS2 like crazy , even my PS3 , The games had Amazing Quality and huge content to play with so that games can last and be played for decades from now on , Sadly current Gaming generation sucks especially AAA developers that loves greed , Except indies , these are the Savors of the industry minus few AA exceptions , like Platinum games , Atlus , Sega , From Software , ID software , Japan Studio , Guerrilla games , Inte creates , Insomniac games , Sucker Punch , Level 5 Studio Creators of the Metro Series , one of the best FPS franchises of all time next to the legendary DOOM .

@Madari Mr. Sparda Agreed, I remember when you purchased a game ONCE and that was it, and it wasn't something that was boring or repetitive or the same thing again and again but with a new coat of paint. Games were released in a complete state, no DLC and nothing that was a borderline form of gambling like micro-transactions and loot boxes. There were no SJWs that poisoned everything by trying to push a political agenda, games actually had a STORY and actual characters. Not only that, but there was always this sense of achievement and accomplishment for making progress in the game, it was always about the player's skill at how good they were at the game, unlike today in which everything's about flashy gear and weapons and trying to look like a celebrity. It feels like the actual substance of a game has been taken away to make it look stylish, flashy and gimmicky. Also, you forgot Nintendo, they're still good.

Yup what you said a true , But as for Nintentrad they are far from being a great company mate , I used to be fan of Nintentard from the NES to the Wii and then i stopped giving a damn about this Kiddy version of EA , and here is why i hate them with a passion , 1 - Shutting down Rom sites that are made for old school people who can play a lot of Game that are lost in time and gaming media , 2 - their bullshit KZbin policy , if ya want to stream some nintentard games you have to pay or they copy claim your video , you can't even post a damn snippet of their games or even making a review , 3 - one of the worst online ever while forcing you to use your phone and a app for it and it does not have a voice chat nor the features that PS4 and Xbox provide at all , Their gaming library suck donkey balls expect Mario odyssey , Zelda breath of the wild and Smash , 4 - Not using their full Ip's at all , No F-Zero , No Wonderful 101 , no Mother , no Smash melee , No wario games like Wario land , last one that i loved was Shake it on the Wii and Wario land on the GameCube , No 007 games despite having the license for it , No Eternal darkness , no nothing 5 - they have worst third party games ever , i can go on and on mate , the Nintendo from the GameCube era to the awesome Wii era was iconic , but now they are simply Greedtendo .

The instruction book was part of the game. I remember back in the day walking back from the game store reading the instruction manual. Working on my hand and finger movements. Pausing the game to look at the pages to figure out what buttons I'm not using. Now I have to go on KZbin to figure out how to pick up rocks and sticks. Good Video. Brought back some fun memories.

I miss the simplicity of being a gamer back in the PS1/PS2/Xbox 360 era. Creators used to make games with the sole purpose of creating a fun and rewarding pass time. Having the gaming community buzzing about how awesome your game is was the goal. These days, gamers need to worry about: 1. Huge publishers like EA buying out decent creators, ruining their franchises and shutting them down. 2. Politically correct messages and agendas being shoved down our throats. 3. Portions of the game being removed and sold as DLC. 4. Gargantuan day 1 patches often over 30 GB which is a huge issue for countries like Australia (would take about 10 hours if lucky). 5. Games being launched as unplayable broken garbage. Battlefield 4 and Mass Effect Andromeda are prime examples.

For me being a Senior Gamer I enjoy it more as games have moved so far forward since the first successful console the Atari 2600 & all those consoles after it I have had great fun but I also knew that it was just a game & I had to make time for everything else & have a childhood & then a life as I got older... When Developer's & Manufacturers say things like you'll able to play to for 8 plus hours uninterrupted, that to me is wrong... The older console's didn't have a save facility built into them but they still made you go back time & time again to finish each level & it was made all the more sweeter because you couldn't save your progress & you had to start from the very beginning again but i still never put 8 hours into 1 day of gameplay & I honestly don't know how modern gamer's have the time to do that... Apart from all gamer's, older & modern, all being at the mercy of being constantly ripped off by loot boxes/hundreds of dlcs & microtransactions & certain games only having Half of its content, apart from that, modern gamer's have never had it so good... Yet when you look at comment sections on most social media sites that show games reviews/trailers & gameplay, all modern gamers do is complain... Hell they get Free Games every month & they still complain about that also & forget that those Free Games aren't a given but a gesture as a Thank You for Subscribing & if Microsoft & Sony drop the Free Games then I could live with it as I get why they're doing it, but I think modern gamer's would throw a fit as with so many products you get today they have become accustomed to getting Free Games on Consoles/Mobiles/Laptops etc Thing is since I like millions of other senior gamer's can play or go back to the older games & enjoy them, I don't see modern gamer's being able to do that... Oh yeah lets not forget the way of playing modern games can be very frustrating as you have to download it even if it's a physical disc or install it, then you have to wait for update patches for day one issues, when it should work fine from the start, " As that's why Developers hire Game Testers " isn't it!.. Modern gamer's have created a money eating machine by buying all those multiple multiple DLC'S in Previous Gen Consoles which showed Developers there was market there ripe to seriously exploit & then you have many more games that are made to bypass Single Players & are only aimed at Multiplayers... I'll admit I'm at end of my rope patience wise with all of the rip off technics with modern gaming that I could easily drop my current gen consoles without blinking an eye as I see why & what developers & manufacturers are up to & if modern gamer's don't start voting with their feet & stand up for themselves they are going to really get ripped off & they'll be nothing they can do, especially if they're so hooked on gaming... Nearer the end of your video you touched on the main sore point with Xbox One & that is the lack of current Exclusives that aren't just more regurgitated games from previous gens... As much as I enjoyed the Halos/Gears Of War & Forza games it's rediculous at the lack of New Exclusive Games that could kick start a new franchise but oh no all were getting is more follow ups that I'm not interested in playing as I've spent so many years playing those games... Believe me when I say you are not alone with this sore & sour point & when I watched the announcement at this year's E3 that there would be more & new Halo/Forza & Gears Of War games, the crowd cheered....Why did the cheer, at more of the same!.. Man I'm so passed all of this & moving on to something else & leaving Microsoft to continue to think & believe that we gamer's want an all in one unit that delivers films,/music/games etc The last time I checked the Xbox 360 could all of that, so what is with the hype machine going on about the Xbox One giving you everything you'll need except enough exclusivequality Xbox One Game's... Hell my TV has all the built in Apps for all those films & dramas that Microsoft are going on about so why would I need them all yet again since my TV & Xbox 360 can give me all the entertainment I need apart from the gaming side... What I & many other Xbox One gamers want is in fact that Game's, give us game's, especially Exclusives or go back to making your Pcs & Laptops & leave the console making to those who'll supply us with that... If anyone thinks that me asking for games as in New Exclusive Games for my Xbox One is wrong then feel free to give me your opinion, as I don't think im the only one sick of this crap from Microsoft... The Xbox One as a Gaming Console in my opinipn is dead & can only be resuscitated if Microsoft can turn it around quickly by releasing at least 2 to 3 or even 4 New Exclusives each year & I ask you, Is That Too Much To Ask!.. Sad thing is I already know Microsoft aren't going to do that & like many of my gaming friends are only keeping a hold of our Xbox One's as we'd get ripped of trying to sell them or trading them in.. It'll be interesting to see the amount in figures that the Xbox One & PS4 ship over the festive Christmas period in 2018 & I bet you retailers will be trying there hardest to get rid of Xbox One's they're sitting on & making up as many Xbox One bundles as possible.. What's happened here with these 2 consoles in the Xbox One & PS4 is nothing new as one console will dominate & the one that lost out will.dominate the next Gen & we all know the Xbox 360 dominated the previous gen console war & Sony learned from that as did Microsoft from their low sales of the original Xbox but Microsoft got too cocky again & thought they'd run away with this gens title, I think not as that can only happen when you have all the exclusives to dominate the market... It's sad as a gamer to see the Xbox One fail as there was plenty of room for both to have equal amounts of top exclusives but as I said Microsoft were too interested in selling an All In One unit rather than a game's console's with other features as just extras to use, if you so wished to... Man I'm outta here as thinking & writing this just pisses me off as Xbox Owners from Parents to Children know this already but still hope for more games that arent going to be made... Peace Out...

The past games are friggen hard. I can beat new games usually 5 hours top...whereas some old games I don't think there is an ending it's just about how much points you can rack up. Like Donkey Kong for Atari and Frogger.

Try coming from the nes to now when you actually got instruction booklets, maps, and guides with the games...not to mention you got a complete game and didn't have any loading of anything. Those were the really good days I miss. You still a youngster if ps2 was your first system....lol. nice video though. U told the truth
