The additional effect of daruma directly affects the player, not the monsters. Like Evenly Matched, it forces the opponent to send their remaining face-up monsters to gy. In the case of Tenpai, because of Sangen Summoning "protecting" those dragons the opponent had to send all of them to gy.

@@AlexandreAtkinson so true like mention above. Sangen summoning makes those fire dragons unaffected by eff in their mp1. At this point, Daruma eff can't flip them down. So opponents have to send it to gy due to Daruma next effect.
