I cried when rediscovering these episodes. I haven’t seen one episode since 1990/91. I had remembered the theme song, despite not seeing it since I was 7-8 in Ontario Canada in the late 80s..I watched it when it aired on TVOntario until 1987 and then in syndication until 1990-1991. Mom said she would put this on when I was 2 & 3 and I would then ask to watch it and I was fascinated with it and LOVED it when Muffy said “Hocus Pocus Alamgocus!” And I would shout the words and watch Jeff come to life and giggle in pure glee. When I was in K-Mart (as a 2-3 year old I used to try and stand in the cart and yell “Attention K-Mart Shoppers!” Like the commercials and mom was simultaneously embarrassed and started to get in on the fun when she noticed other people telling her how adorable it and I were. I *_WAS_* a cute toddler, with blonde/brown hair that was in tight ringlets!) I would also approach mannequins, only the male ones, wearing hats and tried out my “Hocus Pocus Alamagocus!” And wait for them to come to life! Such a wholesome show. I was born in ‘83. Any fellow Ontario residents born in the same kind of time who watched this on TVO?

I was born in 1980 in Ontario and used watch this on TVO - we didn’t have a lot of choices of what to watch back then between coming home from school and bedtime! Eat dinner, watch this and polka dot door and then it was time for bed! I feel like kids today have too many choices of things to watch and some of them are not appropriate nor educational.

I know it was a bit too "1970s" for 1981 which is probably why TV Ontario changed it to the pink outfit after the first batch of episodes but Jodie's original orange-and-red outfit is funky and groovy in the best possible way. R.I.P. Nerene Virgin.

Couldn't find your other comment, but I believe the Halloween episode is already up and I will probably be able to get the Christmas episode up before Christmas because it was an earlier season. I plan to start uploading again this weekend. Just recently moved, so I've been quite busy.
