You know, i half expected the ending to take a turn and seeing frecklewish wake up in the dark forest (since thats what the writers said happened, idk if they changed that) but its nice to see her happy in the end

i love this so much! i think i cracked the code in the flowers lol. the flowers are ok cats she doesn’t know very well/ at all. so.. freckle’s flower comes up right after her brother’s death, meaning she lost a price of herself when he died, and also foreshadowing where she’s gonna get bit. maple’s flowers are red dhilas (dunno if i spelled that right) which mean betrayal *I THINK*, also, freckle doesn’t know her as well as she thinks she does. the kits have flowers at their paws, meaning freckle knows a lot about them, just not their father. and the short time apple’s on screen, he has a flower covering his whole face, meaning freckle doesn’t know him at all

I am foaming at the mouth, this is so goood. The flower symbolism is amazing too. Im not too sure on Freckle’s flower, but Mapleshade’s is a red dahlia, and those often symbolize betrayal! Overall this is beautiful.i love the way the Pmv cuts from cartoony cuteness to realistic horror so quick. You have earned yourself a new subscriber!

I love this so much, it’s perfect- the story telling is perfect, the emotion, the flowers that slowly appear. I think the background and color choice also fits with the characters expressions. You can see how frecklewish becomes more and more somber as it goes on, and the reappearance of the flowers. I believe the flower that she got after her brothers passing resembled her grief and loss, and it develops as she learns about Mapleshade. And I love how you let her in Starclan! Sorry if this is long, I just love this pmv! Amazing job!

This is AMAZING! I cannot stop watching it. It fits well with the beat of the song, and sets a mood. And you put so much detail and expression, agh! I ADORE it! And the flowers fit the characters well, too. You have a flower for each character- in which the symbols fit them well! Also! I thought I'd make this so it's easy to know what they mean. (FreckleWish) White Gerpoms: Childlike, Simplicity. (MapleShade) Red Dahlia: Betrayal, Dishonesty. (Kits) Cornflower: Resilience, Freedom. They were also used to decorate graves, I think? When I looked into it, there were a lot of meanings to behold. (AppleDusk) Poppy: Death, Remembrance. These are super cool, I never realized how flowers can hold deep meanings! To anyone reading this, you should definitely look into them more!

the flower did foreshadow her death, yes!!! but also the specific flowers shown have certain meanings so i encourage people to look into them haha the style being switched when freck claws maple is basically just symbolism of frecklewishs world view being warped! the happy simple style symbolizes her desire for a simple happy life and the realistic stuff happening is basically symbolism of reality intruding her fantasies

I really loved this video and art! All the flower symbolic meanings, the flash of emotion and reality. The unfortunate sight of the kits dying, to everything. I absolutely loved how she's with her brother in the end in Starclan. To me, she will always be in Starclan. She was never evil or blatantly evil.

This is beautiful! I love the switch to a more realistic style when dark things happen like Maple getting scratched, and Freckle seeing the kits in danger. Both led to Maple killing her. I also love the flowers, and how the type of flower (as pointed out in another comment) is related to the character and their actions! And how at the end, Freckle's flower is replaced by a black mark where she was bittene by the snake. The fact you portrayed Freckle's relationship with her brother at the beginning and then the end also makes this PMV so much more touching. I love your art style, too. Amazing job, great video. ❤️✨

I love the use of imagery and flower motif you used in this!! I love the idea of exploring frecklewish's perspective! Though I miiiiight not agree with all of her actions, I can't blame her and would be lying if I said I wouldn't have done what she did. This also just highlights just how manipulative Mapleshade really was. Imagine if someone used your recent brother's death to squeeze out sympathy and care from you. You learn to love your presumed niblings thinking it's the last piece of your brother just to find out it was all a lie??? Sheesh talk about reopening a very fresh wound. I mean come on.. poor girly, why is nobody talking about the fact that she lost her MOM at such a young age and in such a violent way... and now her brother drowns because of AppleDusk.. I mean yes Maple is a victim too, but Freckle is also a direct victim not only to the story, but also to Maple's actions on its own. She cherished kits that turned out to be the kits of her brother's murderer.. she basically got lied to her whole life.. the only thing ""bad"" she actually did(even if there was reasons behind that) is when she clawed at MapleShade. And Maple fans dont get me started with the "she saw the kits drowned and did nothing" what was she supposed to do as a tc cat? She would probably had died trying to save them anyway... I still dont understand why out of all the characters in MapleShade's vengeance, they chose HER to go in the Dark Forest with Maple- Like- What? When as she ever broke the code?
