@@TON-os @TON I began using the bamboo fibre to add more "roughage" to my diet because it has absolutely no taste and is extremely light, so adding a significant amount of fibre to my regular wholegrain seeded breads, cupcakes and cookies seemed to have less of a caloric impact on the "treat" plus helped significantly with "transit time." I lost around 10 kilos (22 lbs,) over the course of a year. Then, on 29 March of this year, I had a stroke. 10 days in hospital followed by three weeks at Rehab (and no real control over my diet,) I came out weighing 4 kilos (8.8 lbs) more so decided to go back to Keto. So far I've lost the weight I gained plus have experienced a slow and steady loss of about a pound a week. I use the ketone testing sticks daily and am in "medium ketosis." I also use apple fiber, psyllium husks, lupin flour and coconut flour, but bamboo fibre is the only one "virtually" carb free. (I say virtually because there IS 0.1g of carbs in a kilo/2.2 lbs.) I hope that answers your question! 🙂

Many ppl have never tried bamboo fiber so test it gently to make sure your good with it. *ALSO* if u cannot get bamboo fiber you can use oat fiber as a substitute in my new coming recipe! “Same gram amount” but bamboo fiber is best due to “no added taste”

Thank you for inventing this, it makes bread and biscuits with amazing texture! It's rather tasteless, though, so the last time I made microwave bread with it, I toasted a quarter cup of a lmond flour and added that. It made the bread taste nearly like bread. I tosted the almond f lour on parchment paper in a 325F convection oven for 20-25 mins until a bit darjer thab golden. I'm going to try toasting the oat fiber as well soon.😊

I have been using bamboo fiber for 5 years or so. It is great for use in keto recipes. I usually use about 1/3 to 1/2 of the flour needed as bamboo fiber. Works great. I have even seen some recipes go negative-net-carbs. By the way, 1 kilogram of bamboo flour is equal to 27.5 cups because it is so light.

That's really cool that you have already been using the product. Maybe you can share some of your recipe successes. However, There really is not such a thing as negative net. Fiber is not Anti-matter. Adding Fiber to an already digestible carbohydrate doesn't *cancel* out the carbs. That logic only works if the carbohydrate itself is already a fiber and thus already indigestible. So, if you eat pure fiber and cannot digest pure fiber then that is zero. if you have digestible carbohydrate and add indigestible fiber, perhaps the best you could achieve is to slow down digestion of the carbhydrate simply by the fiber being mixed in with it in your digestive tract, but if the enzymes can reach it, the enzymes will break down the carbhydrate, regardless of how much fiber you add to it. 10 grams of starch/sugar plus 10 grams of oat fiber = 10 grams of net carbs and 10 grams of fiber, not zero. a total of 20 carbohydrates. 10 grams of carbohydrate that is 50% fiber plus 10 grams of bamboo Fiber = 5 net carbs and 15 grams of fiber, a total of 20 carbhydrates. 10 g of oat fiber plus 10 grams of bamboo fiber = 0 net carbs and 20 grams of fiber, a total of 20 carbhydrates. The only way to *cancel* carbs is to NOT digest them. There are products made from beans that deactivate amylase enzyme in your stomach and intestines and prevents complex carbohydrates , starches, from being broken down into glucose, but that product does not work on sugars and thus cannot cancel them out. TLDR: Eating fiber does not cancel out digestible carbs. Net carbs is only subtracting non-digestible carbohydrates, not the ones your body can still digest. Fiber slows down digestion and may benefit with a slower glucose rise over time, but the carbs are still available to digest fully.

Excited about this because I just watched a video a few days ago about how good silica is for our skin. It works like collagen (actually, I think it works symbiotically WITH collagen) to keep it plump and firm and a highly concentrated source is.....bamboo.

I should have watched your video sooner!! The bamboo fiber is delivering on July 20th now... I can't start your new recipe until then :( But I am still going to try adding in the pecan flour into the new perfected keto to reduce some carbs! I tried your flour mix first time today and it was great! Thank you so much :)

I’m really sorry but flours are my thing. Stick with what u like tho because all my flours are very similar absorbency so u can use the same gram and cup amounts interchangeably
