Aloha guys! That hot mustard is better when you dilute it with shoyu, That's Hawaiian style! Hawaiian cuisine is not a collaboration of many ethnicities, but a unique cuisine of ethnic Hawaiians. Hawaii Local Style food is the 'mix'. Laulau is not spinach but luau leaf from the top of a kalo plant. My very favorite! Really appreciate that you two appreciate my culture and food. Thanks for the excellent comment! As for the Laulau, I'm with you but we specifically asked if this was spinach and they said 'yes'. Maybe they can't get the luau leaf and sub in spinach? Anyway, Mahalo!

​@LetsEatVegas If they're using spinach, that's gotta because they can't get luau leaf. The taste is similar enough in desperate times. Please find authentic laulau, you have to get that taste!

Great place. My friends, one Hawaiian & one Cantonese, and I went for lunch. Awesome 👏 The owners were so friendly and engaging. Cannot go wrong with the food here.

I been here and it and I didn’t like it. The pork hash tastes like a salty meatball. It doesn’t have the complex flavors and umami of Chinese siumai. And the manapua is, once again, just a worse version of the Chinese bao.

Agreed about the manapua. I prefer Chinese bao. The pork hash, however, was very good (as well as a few other times I had it there). Maybe they messed up the day you were there? Anyway, thanks for watching and commenting!

wow, really... da spectrum runs from making the product when you order to ordering the manapua from Hawaii pre-made... THAT '*IS* strange, unless it is due to too much labor to steam the bun/shred the pork meat, etc.

It was good imo. Tried it once. Definitely a shady area! Sooooo many solid Hawaiian spots in Vegas. The best imo is straight up cafe. The kalbi is A+++ the Kalua pork was good too. I didn't try the poke but it's supposed to be solid. Trust me boss go try the kalbi
