They buy around 8-10 percent of the total tickets, but won something like 6 or 7 of the record lottos over the past few years. The chances of this happening are extremely slim. Something is gong on.

I absolutely agree. I was just saying something to the old lady about it this morning.. it's funny just the day before yesterday I was going to get a ticket and I told myself watch it'll be California and sure enough. I totally believe there's some type of corruption going on. Not to mention California doesn't charge state tax so everything will go to the federal government, how convenient. And wouldn't you know every time there's a major jackpot well guess what 9 times out of 10 it comes out of California 🤷

Cortonwood is nowhere near Silicon Valley. Cottonwood is a rural town where they are more known for their rodeo than anything else. The Tehama and Shasta region of California is more like the Midwest than anything.

If that's true, then maybe the lottery should move the Mega-Millions game, & Powerball to California only, since that appears to be where most people who win come from, residents in other states can spend their money on something else, or invest it.

When a ticket went from $1 to $2, the jackpot was supposed to start at $40M, then they roll it back to $20M again. Now that they're increasing it to $5, what's the jackpot gonna start at? Should be around $60-$80M.

On behalf of all lottery gamblers, starting 2025 we demand that an Electoral College system be established for the Mega Millions/Powerball to ensure total randomness, fairness, and equal probability representation for all participating states regardless of how many tickets were purchased. We also demand that all lottery drawings are aired live on TV/Social Media and only U.S. citizens can participate. As a nation we don’t allow non U.S. citizens or majority rules to decide our presidential elections. So why do we allow it for the Mega Millions and Powerball? He who buys the most tickets/the most number combinations for the lottery wins. That all changes come 2025. Establish an Electoral College system for the Mega Millions and Powerball or lottery gamblers will boycott establishing their own lottery system banning California and non U.S. citizens who do not reside in the participating states. Copy and paste and spread the word! No more rigged lotteries!
