I don't understand the backlash for this movie. People keep screaming for representation and for serious topics to be talked about, and yet, when someone does, people get "triggered" and accuse the media of "glamorizing" things. If you know something triggers you, or if you think something has the potential to be harmful to you, then maybe stay away from it? Don't try and sabotage it for other people, because it might even help them, you don't know because you don't know everyone.

I think so many people are upset that a larger variety wasn't represented that they forget this is a step forward, the glass is half full not half empty!

I love how everyone who's never had an eating disorder always thinks it's about just wanting to be a size zero like models on tv

In all these interviews lilly did they made the okja film no justice. It's beautiful, from a wonderful director and also leaves a strong message on respect and love for animals. Highly recommend it.

I watched To The Bone with an open mind but it never was clear to me the catalyst for the Collins character, her stubborn refusal coming to terms with her fears real or not. Does art imitate life? Perhaps. Sometimes you have to move on because life is not always a box of chocolate.

Theres more than enough movies, personal stories,.emoirs,ext..on anorexia and other eating disorders,i have no idea why Lilly chose to play this role,as shes been thru it and it takes a bit of time to make that film so she had to damage her body again for this,i mean, yes we need that help but the ed community went wild on 'to the bone'as i figured tney would but I dont belive i personally after servere bouts of fasting fro. Age eight to thirty six to attai spuritual (not religious)enlightenment, would do my body any good at all, specifically my very weak bones,um...i belive i could help someone another way,but this is her choice and she did the film so i wish her all the best always wishing upon her that she gets what she needs in her lifetime

hjplant although you literally said it "causes eating disorders" and the movie did not push veganism it put out facts. You decide whether or not you want to be ignorant of what is being shown.

Yeah, but her dad is Phil Collins (the famous British musician), so she is British-American. She was raised in the states though, which explains her accent.

Neves Beauty101 but the person (aunt) telling her to “eat” obviously wasn’t familiar with an anorexic relative or anything like that yet, but she was concerned it seems! Chill!

Lilly not objecting to this level of weight loss for a role, reveals she herself is still practicing severe dieting and not free from this practice.

Pam She was with a nutritionist who watched how her health was carefully and she was given supplements, it was for a role, it was not because she's still sick. There's a video where she is explaining the weight-loss but I can't link it.

Do you struggle with any demon?ie.drugs, alchohol,ED,etc? There's a demon when it's beyond our will. For a person who has a WEAKNESS /STRUGGLES with a demon;you dont open a door to a demon or submit to it when you have a weakness/struggle;you will end up battling it,it will take your time,it will have you one way or the other, and ultimately control you one way or another. To be FREE from your demon's grips, you FLEE from it ,resist it.

I get that she was trying to be inclusive by saying 'and young boys', but there's a spectrum she wasn't realising - age. Having an eating disorder when you're an adult is so much more stigmatised. You're seen as childish, vain, stupid even. Yet there are millions of people with anorexia above 30. I've met a 76yo anorexic before. It makes you feel like you're not getting over your problems quick enough and that you're forever doomed with an eating disorder. She may not have realised it, but she's just perpetuating that very harmful stereotype.
