​@msg4141 Family is a big word my friend, and we realise that Family doesn't mean blood, my family are those who loves and cares for me in every situation. That supports me and is truthful to me. Happy when good things happen to me and is right there to cry with me in bad times. Those people come in all forms, shapes and sizes and almost or never in Meghan's case, by blood. Sad but the reality 🤷🏻‍♀️.

As someone who has been fortunate enough to have received an invitation from Buckingham Palace, I can safely say doves do not accompany the invitation neither do heralding trumpeters. What you receive is a gold envelope, well mine was gold anyway, with the invitation inside. Mine arrived very early in the morning with a special postman who rings the doorbell, hands you the envelope and you sign for it. It is just like a normal postman when they deliver a recorded delivery mail but it is incredibly special, as he had no other mail with him. When you open the envelope and pull out the beautiful handwritten card with your invitation it's a very special moment. I attended a classical concert in the garden, which was attended by the queen, and various members of the royal family. Because my companion and I were so nervous, we attempted to circumnavigate the garden just so we wouldn't have to meet them, only to get caught out and introduced to Prince Charles and Prince Andrew. Both were very warm and friendly. I can honestly say, as a black person, they put us at easy and were very warm and friendly. I for one believe, based on that experience, and subsequent others, that Meghan will be fine.

I think you have hit the nail on the head with regards to Meghan being fine. I think the Royal Family are often portrayed quite negatively however, they are skilled in knowing how to put people at their ease. I absolutely adore the Queen and Diana’s children. I think Meghan and Harry can only enhance the good work that the Royals do - those Royals of course who take their privilege seriously and who are often not in the spotlight, like Sophie and the Kent’s etc. Good luck to you.
