A lot of makeup artists will carry around makeup that appears to be in the form of what you call "no name." It really is that they like taking products out of their original packaging and organizing them together in their own palettes. It makes it easier so that if they like one blush from one face palette and another from another one and they use them all the time, they don't have to carry all the palettes around.

Friends-please never blow on your brushes. It’s extremely unhygienic (especially doing another persons makeup) Tap any additional powder off if needed, but start training yourself to develop the muscle memory needed by picking up small amounts of pigment and building it up. I also completely unsubscribe from the rule of having to line the entire lash line. Lining the upper lash line defines lashes and can help to change the shape of the eye (elongating, lifting it). The way you line is based upon eye shape as well as the look you want to achieve. It kills me when artists make hard fast rules for women- this is art. Teach the art. I’ve been in this industry for over a decade and have seen it change tremendously.

It depends, Bobby is basically saying embrace yourself, do your make up but don’t change your entire face, which I agree. It is exhausting to do make up and look completely different. @waterRuby72 жыл бұрын
@@Yymmcc1205 I’d argue that Bobby is providing a very antiquated method of eye makeup application and that instead I’m arguing that application should be completely arbitrary based on the shape of ones eyes, face, and aesthetic. I always had to carry all my makeup with me, which frustrated me because I don't like carrying a lot of stuff with me. But then my trying to get makeup portable took on a life of its own. An engineer who has no need for a bionic limb can becomes obsessed with engineering the perfect bionic limb. I want to want to be ambitious enough to make myself up everyday. Even if I had zero interest in wearing makeup, if I had a friend who wore makeup and said to me "Dammit it's frustrating... why can't they make touch-up makeup more compact." I would set out to solve her problem.

So where all all the extra repair skincare balms some of us have been using for so many years now?? We have been paying pretty big bucks for quite a while, being faithful Bobbi Brown consumers.... and now we can not find any of those products on either Nordstrom or the Bobbi Brown site-???

wear foundation that matches my skin and use bronzer if I want to be tanner? wow. earth shattering.

Did Bobbi just blow the brow brush? 😶
@Mermaidhaze5 жыл бұрын
She could have tapped the brush 👀

For a professional make up artist blowing on your brushes before applying make up on somebody else is just so unsanitary very surprised to see that, not a fan at all 😐

Lol MUA do it all the time. Kevyn Aucoin did. Drag Queens do. It’s what you do when you’re on a time crunch and have to be resourceful backstage etc lol

She blew on the brush, touched all the makeup with her fingers then on the models' faces. Then she rubbed the lip gloss Into her hands like a lotion. It looked like a petroleum based gloss. Yuk

Come on bobbi. You blew spit on the brush!! And then used the brush on yourself and back on the model. Yikes

Yeah I’m don’t blow on the brush to get bronzer or blush off that’s unhygienic… you can just tap the brush on something hard..

Bobbie Brown you look so young tjose glasses steal the show its all I see. You should show off youryouthful look clear glasses (please look upSwiss Flex clear glasses. I het compliments in them all of the time. Very few eyeglass places carry them.They look more sophisticated than the generic clear that look like kids glasses.)or at least not bl3avk frames they dont look good on even brad pitt.All you see are these black frames like a cartoon character. Watch the compliments if you get swiss flex or even a subtle chetah.Show off your face!

No hygienic at all...she is blowing the brush from her mouth, touching brush on her neck and then on a client,putting lipstic straight from the tube(not using little brush),touching client's lips with her fingers and etc....

She doesn’t leave ANY room for creativity or enjoyment in makeup. Trust and believe, she doesn’t even want to be doing it anymore.

It's an extremely "classic" makeup style, which a lot of people enjoy? Personally I don't mind it as much

I really don’t ‘get’ Bobbi Brown. She actually doesn’t seem particularly excellent at her craft, nor is her demeanor anything special. I could be wrong, just my impression
@BbGun-lw5vi5 жыл бұрын
LittleHoop She isn’t. Her makeup is always sloppy. I’ve been watching her for years and it’s her assistants who are good at applying makeup.
@LittleMissHoop5 жыл бұрын
@@BbGun-lw5vi Interesting. Also, I never found her own makeup to be noteworthy in any way...it's like, what am I missing, in this megastar of makeup?!
