It is a combination the food you feed them and how fast they eat. My Bostons do not have excessive gas any longer b/c of the food pacer and the much better quality kibble. The more you know...

Because these dogs, regardless of the health problems, sell for alot of money. It's a shame the AKC hasn't looked at the breed more closely and do what was done in Europe, change the breed standard to include a longer snout which would eliminate a lifetime of breathing issues.
