Happy 70th Birthday Al Roker, the key to the city he deserves it, Al has been around a long time on the news I remember when I first saw Al in person it was outside of the Parson Blvd train station in Queens in 1985 he came along way since then, enjoy the big 70 Al, I will be 70 at the end of next year enjoy❤💝💝💖

Al Roker was the first person I thought of when our local CTV Vancouver reporter Mike McCardell, announced his retirement after 62 years as a reporter (he's now 80). He did community reporting that was uplifting and/or thoughtful about the world around us. Often the simplest of stories, even situations he accidentally stumbled upon, played at the end of the broadcast. A beloved transplant who originated in New York! I would love to see Al feature him on a small segment. Just a request from a neighbour. 😊🇨🇦
