A friend your friend was wrong you don't "need" a lance... you can use a tent whip and hasta just fine. Although the lance saves space and is the 2nd best it's not necessary. You really only need blowpipe, tent, trident, and void tbh.

The extra damage at olm is huge with Lance plus you get a crush wep for tekton and a stab web for Vasa. He is better of buying Lance and using a bgs instead of dwh.
