Jester Mclarpet Why would anyone care about a variety of interior colors? LOL . The whole point of the Truck Driving is to get a product from point A to point B, not an interior design as a deal breaker problem.

Does anyone have a handle on whether the T700 or the 680 gets better fuel mileage?

The T700 took the place of the T2000 and the T660 took the place of the T600 so this T680 is an entirely new segment? Too similar looking to me. Cat is no longer offered and I hate the ISX Cummings. If KW ever offers the Detroit again like they used to over a decade ago I would be a buyer. The new DD15 is not only the best fuel efficient engine out it has a lot more torque than the older 60sers and if its not enough the new DD16 pushes 600hp and 2,050 lb-ft torque! Million mile motor baby!

Unless you're doing a fuel economy test under tightly controlled conditions, you would not get reliable data on fuel consumption. Kenworth claims the T660 is 10 percent more aerodynamic than the T700, which presumes there would be an improvement in fuel economy.

They both have similar dynamics and if you have the same engine (shitty ISX) and same running gears it will be the same. Running gears are most over looked part of fuel econo!
