Relax lol. What they did were white-collar crimes that did not affect you or your personal life. They were nonviolent, so you shouldn't have so much hostility. I've seen cases of rapists and murderers getting less time. 12 years is a bit extreme for some bank fraud. The banks need to start taking accountability, too, for not doing the research before they hand out business loans for millions of dollars. Banks have just been taking people's word for it and handing out money. Bank money is insured anyways; anytime they lose some, they print more. If anything, 3 years in prison and spending the rest of their life paying that money back in debt would have been a more reasonable punishment. They are not dangerous people.

Never ONCE has either of them had remorse for their actions. They have no thought about the money that they stole and the people who were affected by their theft and deception. I believe they seriously thought that they would get away with stealing our 30 million dollars, and if they got caught, they would just get a slap on the wrist, but that didn't happen, and now they cry, not because they are in prison but because of their living conditions. They are where they need to be, and maybe this will give them plenty of time to think about the people that they hurt

To everyone that’s speculating on them getting an early release - that’s not happening unless they win an appeal. Their charges are federal which means they’ll have to serve a minimum of 85% of their sentence.
@judycee4
@judycee4 2 жыл бұрын
C_Gee Early release has nothing to do with winning their appeal. All nonviolent prisoners are eligible for release based on certain factors. Volunteering to teach programs can result in reduced time on sentences. The recent First Step Act was implemented in January 2022, meaning among other thing reduced time for good behavior. I wish people would educate themselves.

Convicted felons who are sentenced to Federal prisons and commit federal crimes- do not get their sentences reduced they typically serve 85% of their sentence and rarely if ever do appeals happen. The reason many celebrities and other convicted felons receive lesser sentences is because they plead guilty aka accepted a plea deal and showed remorse-unfortunately not the case for Todd and Julie Chrisley they continue to maintain their innocence and blame others and showed no remorse whatsoever hence the substantial time / sentence they were given

@@judycee4 does not work for federal prison they still need to serve 85% of their time which is a lot more than half of their time reduced. They will be serving a lot of time in prison unless they win their appeal I have not read the facts on this case so I don’t know if they have a shot but appeals are typically very hard to win for most lawyers but they or their attorney may have some connections and trust me that matters. One of the most troubling things I’ve seen in the legal field at least in Nevada is because judges need to be re-elected (which they should be) they need campaign money well guess who gives those judges money - Attorneys! Those judges then allow the attorneys who donated more special privileges such as that attorney will be able to speak more in the court room while the other one will not be able to object as much, I worked for one attorney who not only donated huge money to all the judges he had me work their campaigns! He sucked as an attorney he rambled but guess what he always won than I’ve also worked for an amazing attorney who couldn’t give money she was constantly told no in the court room, the ones that give are also friends with these judges they literally go to events several times a week (in NV they don’t call this a case conflict which they 100% should as any judge that receives favors is obviously going to do favors for that attorney) my advice is find an attorney that donated but criminal law is a little different as those judges again have to be re-elected so releasing someone in a high profile case may cause the public not to vote for them also (not talking about supreme courts) but yes I’ve seen the worse in the legal field that I had no clue that existed until I was involved in it. I’m sicken with myself that at one time I worked for a man that had me working on these campaigns. I always tell people to hire attorneys with deep pockets and connections. You can’t just hire a good attorney.

Todd is so prissy and a germaphobe he will have a melt down. I am sure Todd will find a boyfriend or two during his prison sentence. I think Julie will make out alright and be put in charge of cooking for her fellow inmates. The whole “Chrisley Knows Best” was a bunch of BS any how. Trump and his kids better take notes before they have to go to prison 🤣🤣🤣.

It's stupid to send these people to jail . They should make people like them to keep working and give all their money back to causes that matter not to them but to the world. I'm sorry, I think if they are left to live without all that money and on the same budget like most people they would suffer more.,,, do you think am wrong?

Your right, non-violent crimes don't need that kind of prison time. But we have to remember prison system is a business too. The system gets paid for incarcerating people regardless the crime level. I say maybe 3 years in prison for the bank fraud stuff and spending the rest of his life in debt. And to be honest, these banks need some accountability too. They're just handing out these business loans for millions without doing any due diligence on the applicants. Then arresting people who spend it wrong after.

So where is Todd's panicking message?? Since no one was in the court room to see or read the facts on this case, I can't get into people's condemning opinions. There are people convicted of crimes all the time and end up in prison who are Not Guilty. I'm not buying that this family was brazen enough to live their life out in the public on TV etc. And think they could never get caught??? PLEASE!!! That's pretty blind. I do not buy this story anymore than I do any of the others. Lawyer do your duty!! Time to free these people. The sooner the better.🙏🙏🙏

The picture of the prison that Julie is supposed to be in is a MENS FEDERAL MEDICAL FACILITY. (Medium to High Security)! She is not in a medical facility! They need to show the large three-story brick building (camp/dorm setting) on the same property with no fences, bars, or doors to the rooms. At least people would see how it is not like normal prison.
