To be fair the referees did a poor job with their hand signals when calling fouls. They were talking to the pullers but without proper hand signals the crowd and announcer can’t tell what’s going on. In that respect they could learn a lot from watching some European competitions where hand signals tend to be a lot more clear and consistent.
@olderthanyoucali85122 жыл бұрын
The commentator is no Neil Pickup, sounds like he's calling a WWE match. Chance had Todd on his side on the first match, but Todd has powered his way out of that position before. It's not a win until he's pined! Good match except for the announcer.

Why say "ready go"? Just say go, so both athletes can not begin pulling. Make it like track sports.
@danhenderson51982 жыл бұрын
Cause there can be cheating between the ref and maybe one of the pullers I think where they discuss when to cheat or give a clue about when to go. At least with ready youre making sure both are getting ready so there is no cheating.
@olderthanyoucali85122 жыл бұрын
Armwrestling isn't like other sports. It's the only one where the rules allow one competitor to take an advantage of the other in the setup before the match starts. Which is why it will never be seen like other sports, where unfair advantages before the competition begins aren't allowed in their rules. The closest that Armwrestling comes to eliminating unfair advantages before a match starts, are WAL/PAL rules.

Because todd did not pull. Thats it. I havn't seen him using 100 force with crazy full force side pressure attack. Most of the fight he just hold him without strap. Whatch his pull with Irakly or Devon and compare to this here he was too relaxed. Todd 100% time just maintained position and tested his strength.
