And Tbh, I actually think if John keeps training and doing these Super Matches for another 6-8 months, he'll be even MORE like his younger self and then I'd like to see if Devon could beat him.!?! Everyone were expecting a hook fight, but everyone also seem to forget that Haji is a result oriented athlete, not a showman or smt like that, one of the most decorated armwrestlers ever. Adjusted his technique, preserved strength, focused on speed. Canopened Todd, without much problem. I really like Todd, but Haji got the result and Todd just couldn't adapt. And we can speculate all we want about muh "if they would just hook then Todd would probably overpower etc".

@alexramirez95012 жыл бұрын
@@lukeno4143 no he wasn’t., that’s nonsense my guy. Their total score is 2-1 favoring ZOLOEV my guy. Todd beat him bad in that vendetta Supermatch like a decade ago and then ZOLOEV beats him IN A TOURNAMENT IN A HOOK. Again in a tournament in a hook but I have no idea what year and tournament, I just seen the highlight years ago. Now recently ZOLOEV beats him again even flashing him 3rd round with ease. Final round ZOLOEV decide to force the hook but hutchings side pressure and hook is to much still. It’s clear that ZOLOEV change his style a bit and adapted and like many have said became a more versatile complete arm wrestler. Todd has better side pressure and hook because he only focuses on that but that doesn’t makes ZOLOEV weak. In fact he is a world class elite hooker especially from 2010-2015 where he has beaten more often the likes of Rustam, Krasimir, prudnik, sasho, alexey semerenko etc who were the best hookers at the time especially rustam babayev. Todd hutchings has definitely gotten better and stronger and ZOLOEV unfortunately has been getting injured multiple times and not performing to good recently. He got hurt against Dimitri on that December tournament and looked hurt against bryzenk(bryzenk hands is still to much for him though regardless) and then I think he got hurt again in another tournament. I don’t know ZOLOEVs prime but I’m sure if it wasn’t for the injuries he would be improving much like Todd if not better. Take for instance 2019 ZOLOEV that whooped everyone at WAF worlds at 90kg+ and even flashed 2nd place Sasho andreev who has beaten prudnik multiple times and irakli and other elites at that weight class. That ZOLOEV might have been much better than the one that beat Todd recently but who knows right. It’s unfortunate ZOLOEV can’t compete right now and improve and get stronger because of his recent injuries. Hopefully he heals and recovers good and we see ZOLOEV back in prime shape if not better. He is still quite younger compare to many other pros like hutchings,bryzenk and rustam, so he has time to recover better and faster than the older pros .

It's obvious many don't know too much about Khadzi. The bubble of armwrestling extends far beyond the land mass known as North America. There are some real armwrestling beasts in Europe. Khadzi knows Todd has a strong hook so he top rolled him cos it would've been silly to go into a hooking match against Todd. Once Khadzi had the win in the bag then he decided to hook since people there wanted to see a hook match if anyone watched the stream. Khadzi won fair and square. He was the smarter armwrestler. Only hope Todd had was to try go for the strap which he didn't do, most likely due to the rules surrounding the slip. Khadzi won, Todd lost, simple.
