Follow the big-mountain legend Todd Ligare to Valdez, AK for the culmination of a winter, captured during a short but sweet trip with fortuitous weather, snow, and stability that allowed the crew to attack little-explored terrain in ideal conditions.

Loved the drone shots zooming between what’s so close it’s basically PoV shots all the way out to massive scale shots. And the pure unadulterated heavy skiing mixed with heavy metal. Some of my favorite ski porn in years. Similar feel to some of Hoji’s MSP segments in the early 2010s.

excellent skiing Todd! Race drone style filming needs to die a quick death though imho - its focus is arguably more on what the drone can do than capturing the skiing in a way where one would want to actually look at the video more than once, it is just sooooo busy. Actually planning how to showcase the skiing and the line seems more challenging than just swooping around in circles, haphazardly filming the action.

The top down view flattens the aspect so does the below angle…. and the endless circling completely robs the skiers/riders skill 😂

Wau da kann mehr kommen obwohl ich von den 3 Schwung Fahrern nicht so viel halte aber die Aufnahmen und schnitt waren super ❤❤❤🦅

3 Schwung fahren ist halt nen ganz anderes Feeling ;) in solchem Gelände Zöpfe zu flechten ist glaub auch ein bischen mehr Risiko. man schaue sich an wie oft die schnellen Fahrer vor den Lawinen davon fahren
