I have to say I love Todd and Asa together negotiating. You could tell there was a lot of mutual respect whenever they negotiated business together. Too bad they had them set up as enemies later

Endearing to watch this scene. Todd truly was very open with Blair in the beginning. He had her back and I believe she believed he had her back when he presented her with checks with both their names on them- that was a touching scene-teared up over it. Great writing for these two.

Agree. That was a very sweet thing to do, I teared up too. I've always thought that KDP was so incredibly honest with her emotions and when her eyes filled with tears it's hard not to have sympathy tears with her. Very real...

Todd is so good to Blair at this time. It's a shame that she wrecked what they had! They never 100% recovered. Over the years, Blair continued to lie and Todd caused Blair pain with his schemes and angry/vengeful actions. It's amazing that that they were ultimately able to love one another again. Somehow, surprisingly, they were each able to forgive and they both sought togetherness.

Todd really came so far I love how he's very pro woman in a marriage putting her name on a joint Bank acct that fast. if i was blair carrying this gorgeous man's child and the generosity I mean he treated her like gold how she spent months after this pining for cord . wasnt it in may months after this she still was putting her hands all over cords care chest while she was pregnant with Todd's baby and he gave her everything . I have a love hate with blair lol. she always lies to Todd he's always second choice yet she blames him for his anger or lashing out. imagine finding out someone tricked u into marrying them when u give them ur whole soul? blair got nasty when Todd had their marriage annulled and by the way she was going to Abort their second baby until she heard from Asa if he didn't have kids of his own the money would go to cj and Sarah so blair kept the baby out of spite to Tina. and how bout years later again Todd treated her like gold she got pregnant with Jack and for months on end told him it was max s baby I never got that one. I'm not saying the dead baby lie was ok at all but cm on blair look at ur part .

Agree completely! I really like Blair but the character was constantly clinging to the wrong men and thinking she was in love with men she wasn't really in love with....

Todd was a great partner at first. But, in 2000-2001, no. First, he kept her clothes from the shooting to use against her if she pissed him off. Then he actually did use them against her due only to jealousy. Although he went to great lengths to fix the situation, Blair was living in fear of jail and it caused her to mistrust Todd; realizing he could do something that awful to her when she hadn't even done anything to him. In addition, Todd kept her from Starr that year even after she told him she would not be marrying Max. Finally, he began the process of framing her for Asa's "murder". These are not the actions of a great partner; not "gold" treatment. His behavior was downright treacherous. Added note: It's untrue to say that Blair was going to abort the baby. She did consider it but seemed quite ambivalent about it. And we really don't know for sure why she changed her mind. (Because you don't really like her you always assume the worst of her.)
