one of my fav scenes from Todd ever. RH and ES played it perfectly and when Todd first held his child and the look of emotion on his face almost brought me to tears. And the baby smile is so precious. One of my all time fav characters, ever.

These Todd viki scenes are epic. They had instant chemistry & it's incredible after he was just Kevin's frat bro to her real brother. The starr viki Todd scene became legendary. The key also to why Todd became & remained such a great character is how much acting rh does w/ his expressions. Micheal Malone said that's literally the main reason Todd stayed was " the actors ability to show such agony & remorse on his face despite the lines or direction" pretty great testament to rh

Todd's heart grew and filled with love when he met Starr! Had the writers not taken Todd down the path they did after 2001 part of 2002 RH with ES, KDP and KA could have kept OLTL going... the writers were dumbasses!!

I love it when Vicki tells Todd what he needs to do to make himself happy. He doesn't often enough follow her sage advice but she tries and he does now and then, like in this scene.

BBJ55 the music at around the 1min mark was actually Todd & Rebecca's theme played thru 1994 during their love triangle. I guess they decided to recycle it for Todd & Starr

@bjujubee I also think that he is so rough around the edges that they had to make him safe somewhere. I guess it's ok to be safe and vulnerable with children. That gives him some compassion and emotions.

@roman61 Starr, Vicki and some other members of his family brought that side out of him. Blair at time too, depends on how stupid Blair was being. But I agree scene like this is what help ES win 6 different emmy's emotion like this played off so well with RH but was missing with TSJ scene despite how good an actor his was its alway been more that role that didn't fit him which is why I didn't couldn't by him as Todd Manning. No one I think could match RH's ablities in this role

9 years late and you probably already know but his mom gave him to Peter Manning when he was born. He had just recently found out he was victor lords son before he was shot in Ireland
