Settle down. You don't hire big name coaches during a rebuild. They know they are going to lose. Where's your loyalty? Yzerman is killing it. We aren't going to have all the boys till 2026 because it's a rebuild and that's just the start of our contention window. It's the guys like you that look at a single season or pack of games during a rebuild trying to run the guy out of town. You'll be the first guy in line at the parade saying you always believed in the Yzerplan.

This is the same goof that was crying for Yzerman to be fired all of nov/dec. Buddy doesn't realize how hockey works, and definitely did not watch Yzerman playing for the Red Wings. Yzerman can basically never get fired unless he magically destroys this teams future. He is the Red Wings

@@spencerdobkin9479 You don't win and make the playoffs during rebuild years. There's a ton that both previous coaches taught the kids. You don't burn great coaches on rebuild teams. Lalonde was fine after this year. If we finish poorly we get a great pick to help our rebuild. If we make the playoffs we are out in the first round. He pulled the trigger because he could see it was hurting the team. We are still 2yrs away from being ready so I'm fine with the change but making the playoffs is your goal. Yzerman's is winning the cup.
