To me, it's something that comes from his core. That child in him; it's sincere and children connect to it. RH is amazing. If he had not first been in the role, Todd would have been kaput almost two decades ago. Because RH was cast in the role, we got such wonderful stories and such a rich history.

RH's naturalness w/ children always shone through. I believe they responded so well back to him b/c they could sense his kindness & gentleness. A touching moment (2011) was when Todd met his granddaughter, Hope. It was magical to see him hold Hope, and look down into grown Starr's eyes. It reminded me of the equally magical moment Todd first held and looked into his baby, Starr's, eyes. I watched all those scenes over & over. RH is & was irreplaceable as Todd. I'm an RH & real Todd fan forever.

This clip is why I could never buy TSJTodd after the whole falling down the stairs and the pregnancy storyline. He never showed real remorse for the stairs and he treated Starr like she was worthless b/c she got pregnant in HS. Jeez. I'm so glad that the real Todd is back.

He was he was 27 . Oltl hit pay dirt bc before 93 they were floundering looking for a new young male lead as cord and max were the it guys from the 80s. They tried with Jason kevin suede they casted powell and todd was like a 1 in a million shot. I don't think a day player rose to the most iconic man on oltl ever. He won.an emmy his first year on the show . They still didn't know if they were going to keep him after the rape story wrapped up I thought he was done for when he went to jail but then they starred to see what they had in Roger and todd . Malone and griffith said it was so easy to write for todd bc they created something really special his emmy nod sealed it and when he won oltl was not gonna ever let him go. Making him vikis brother cinched it as she was the show always.

@loveigniting09 Todd hurt Starr in other ways, but in no way was he physically abusive or verbally abusive. VicTodd raised his hand up, ready to slap Starr once, then there was the stairs, where afterwards, he took a seat at the bottom of the stairs and looked on as Blair tended to Starr. Later at the hospital, he tried to laugh it off. Also, VicTodd looked down oh Starr because she made a mistake, like he didn't make plenty.

@crazylazygirl33 Roger is wonderful in these scenes! If he had not started in the role, I would absolutely hate Todd.
