This guy is real, he's one of the best writers I have ever heard or read, and I am so happy when I hear his music. He's simply the man...

this feels to me like raw and heartfelt rendition of Train Song. not sure why the fuck people ask "what's up with Todd" and shit like that. Todd is living and being Todd, going through shit like health issues and divorce that we all go through, and yeah probably smokin' some, maybe other stuff. Well fuck.....listen to the songs people and appreciate who he is and what he has devoted his life to. I hope he lives a good long time. Hell I hope I live and love a good long time. But if we don't we don't, and maybe we won't. Good version of Train Song......about all I can say.

Amen brother! We don't always need to try to be lookin' beyond what people have invited us to see. Musicians, artists, writers, performers... they give so much. Why can't it be enough, right? I saw Todd live tonight and he looked and sounded great. I can't complain... am just happy to be here... -Peace

Great song, I love Todd and his band HWA

I think he wasn't comfortable singing with a ton of something or other coursing through his veins. I'm typically not one to make a comment like that but look at the dude's eyeballs. Great googly moogly. Love him. He seems to be doing alright of late. Hope he has a long ways to go.

Oh, Todd, I hope you are well, cause you sure don't look like you are, and that is no bueno.

No singer in history has ever known what to do with their hands when not holding an instrument. Look at Robert Plant's weird little hand gestures. Anyway Todd is amazing- I flew up to Portland just to see him with John Prine and it was well worth it.

I think this is a truly fantastic rendition, don't know what the fuck are people down here are talking about him being too stoned or whatnot. Only bad thing in my opinion where the harmonies from the acoustic guitar guy. Long live Todd!!!

I wanna be that wasted on the day they lay me down :) check out my cover version, let me know what you think, i'm beginning to think i was stoned enough when i recorded it ,lol
@adumbberg4 жыл бұрын
I took the time to listen to your version. Guitar sounds good, singing is alright. I like the fact that you picked this song to sing. There's way too much reverb. Way too much. Sounds like you recorded it through a pillow, underwater, in the basement of the building across the street.

i agree and have been thinking, about it ,he is on a well lit stage and no guitar in his hand , i think that makes him uncomfortable, especially with the lights,and it being so bright in there. and if its acid or mush that soothes my mind 100% nothing wrong with either them on a good night ! chk my channel i have vids from 2 his shows
@bartonknight22544 жыл бұрын
I love Todd ... but this rendition of this song .. well it's heavily induced by oxycontin. Thank God Todd kicked that little habit. Didn't quite feel him like when he's mildly high on the weed ... and a couple of glasses of red wine. I love Todd as much as anybody. Just don't care for him too ... "chemicalized". God bless him. 😎
@Dedalus11973 Жыл бұрын
it's amazing how you can come to these conclusions just by looking at a video. wow. for fuck's sake people.
@pridden7611 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. I don´t understand how people can let him fall apart like that. It´s not healthy. He´s talented, and I wish he was sober.

i guarantee thats not a pain look,,,, i lov todd and am sure he is in paid ,, but that look is not pain,,i saw todd twice few months ago. and i guarantee u he was 'elevated' and was a great performance !!!!! i wish him all the best health in the world !

The look in his eyes is slightly scary being a big fan , i hope Brian and Elvis try and take great care of him ,, Todd has some great fans and has love from all across North America. .. looks like its been a "long year"

Todd is Todd. Even if he's on acid/shrooms in this vid, that's still better than being hooked on prescription pills like most everybody else. He knows what's up.
