This is an honest and non-biased review, and I appreciate that. But I think it misses one crucial point about Todd's game, which is that your style of game should suit your personality. Todd is an intelligent, analytical, eloquent, and somewhat laid back and introverted guy. He's not going to make overt sexual jokes right off the cold open, because he's not a loud, flamboyant, in your face kind of guy. Doing that would be incongruent with his personality, and would probably come across as fake. Also if he came in with that energy, he'd have to maintain it throughout the set, which is really exhausting if that's not how you naturally act. As for those social closes not leading to sex, I think you're not appreciating his follow-up skills.

Todd V is my favorite dating coach, but my favorite content of his doesn't even have to do with game-it's when he talks about broader life principles about self-improvement, integrity, being a high-value man, etc. It's like I found his videos for dating-related topics but then I walked away with a whole new moral philosophy.

@@ThePowerMoves His free video collection "Winner Game" and his paid course "Value Masterclass" have a lot of his philosophy and mindset stuff. And it's sprinkled throughout his other material. He has a 2021 video on how to love yourself as a man. He has some other videos on mental toughness, withstanding social pressure, etc. I think the core of his moral philosophy is similar to Ayn Rand's egoism, although it's different, too. He talks a lot about: 1. Know your own values. 2. Actually live your values with integrity. 3. If your values differ from society's or other people's values, then be mentally tough enough to handle the judgment and social pressure from others when you live them-don't be apologetic or cave into the pressure if you know you're living by your own values. He also has some videos on how to learn skills effectively in general, and he covers wealth-building and other self-help topics occasionally.

I do think Todd's game style is better. reasons being: 1. He has more comfort in his game. He's game is more "It just happened" type of narrative. That's what most girls want. Girls don't like the narrative of "he wanted to fuck me, i let him". 2. His lack of "intent" is more like an invisibal escalation. He has intent, girls knows it's a pick up. It's just that he doesn't rush to make the escalation that obvious, to avoid objections and make the interactions smoother. Overall, that would give it a better pull rate per open. 3. Your style of game works, but it only works with certain types of girls who really look for the asshole Alpha fuckboys. Todd is a prefessional coach in it. His job is to teach people, the approch with the highest win rate, targeting the widest range of girl types. I do think his game style beats yours on that category. Overall, I think your game is better with the BDSM dom/sub community. That's the reason I looked into your channel. But for a more general approach, I do think Todd is more applicable. Plus, Todd breaks down everything into science, and you just do it based on your experience. So Todd is more like the engineer, and you are more like the craftsman.

I think his interactions aren't impressive. When I actually tried in my 20's I was way more entertaining and had women smiling and laughing almost the whole time when I was on my A-game... At the end of the day though, if he technically got the girls number, it is a successful interaction, but it means very little in terms of how interested a woman is in a man after the initial conversation. Men act like women only give their number to men who they find sexually attarctive or who wow'ed them... Which is far from reality

Todd's approach, by his own omission, is to not be polarizing (particularly withholding "intent"). He always talks about avoiding things that can lead to NOs or lead to blow outs, and subtle navigating to YESs. Not saying that that approach works, or advocating for it relative to the commentary, just contextualizing the commentary.
@braaap56
@braaap56 3 жыл бұрын
Alex goes for polarizing which will only attract certain woman which he wants but it will turn off the rest. Todd goes for the natural less threatening/more friendly approach which won’t put her in a defence or have her “guard up” as much. Especially during the daytime, you shouldn’t be overly sexual unless you get a vibe from her by talking to her first. Both different styles of game and both different mindsets going into each interaction

Todd has absolutely boring dry game. However, he makes so few mistakes and that is what his game is all about. @@no.name.huncho215 i've actually bought the verbal game academy course from Todd not because i'm a huge fan, just because its still covid time in Europe and you cant do much nightgame anywhere. After watching all the infield i can say that his interactions seem to be very boring cause i think he has a very different understanding what intent means. A lot of PUAs have the f*ckboy frame, getting sexual early in the conversation and going for the pull fairly quick which can work and creates a very masculin vibe. But Todd creates more leads just by being non controversial or over the top in daygame. I think because his textgame is on point he can make his style of game work really well. Also he cares more about that the girls see him as more sophisticated and higher value than them. I guess that's his obsession spending twice the time to game just one girl but having her beg for attention from a higher value man

Glad you made this video Alex. Todd has been my favorite dating coach for over a year. Been watching your content for 3 months or so and I've improved my game a lot by integrating elements of yours and his game into my own arsenal. I'm 5'7", sort of reserved, and I like to think I'm above average when it comes to being articulate/persuasive, so I've always Identified closely with Todd in some of those aspects. If I was to give you any feedback on this video I'd say, as you're above 6 foot and you're in better physical shape than Todd or myself I think you are able to have a more polarizing game than Todd, especially when it comes to sexualizing a conversation immediately. A lot of the comments have already said this but Todd has mastered the art of gradually escalating the sexuality of a conversation based on the venue and based on the logistics. It allows the interaction to always be slowly heating up over a period of hours or days leading up to sex. Then there's the other element of, game to an extent should be fun for us men. I personally have more fun when I don't know if the girl is DTF. I like the thrill of the chase, the thrill of ambiguity. For example, I was on a first-date where the girl told me during dinner out at the restaurant that she was looking to smash that night. Conversely, I have always enjoyed it more when the woman is ambiguous and then I close at the end of the night. Just a personal preference from an enjoyment-standpoint and I haven't heard you speak on this subpoint yet. Feel free to share your thoughts. Anyways great video as always keep up the good work bro!

Good video but it would be great to have a second part with more recent infields, these are reaaaally old. I feel like he has improved a lot. Also as someone who’s pretty much a Todd V fanboy and knows literally everything he teaches I’ll tell you the 2 counterarguments he would have for your critiques. 1: the purpose of not using straight-forward, simple language is because he doesn’t like to be obvious about the intent. Saying “hey you are cute “ is way more obvious than saying “you have an intriguing look” which is more along the lines of something Todd would open with, he finds that being straight forward and simple works well with cute girls, it’s effective up to the 8s, but doesn’t work nearly as well with 9-10s, since they are bombarded with guys with decent game with that masculine man to woman intent you are talking about. The hottest girls like to chase that validation so as soon as you are bit obvious about your intent they completely lose interest. I agree with this. I can get away being straight forward with decent looking girls but when it comes to the hottest girls that seem a bit out of my league I’m pretty much forced to be a bit more fancy and gamey to get the girl reactive and chasing. This is something he calls “leveling” 2: Todd doesn’t like to get sexual with the girls unless he has good logistics to take the girls on an instant date. He finds that if you get too sexual the girls will feel weird about it afterwards which leads to way more flakiness. Todd doesn’t worry about stablishing the man to woman since he can inject that easily at any point. His biggest concern is to figure out logistics and get the girl on a date. I find all of this also truth based on my experience, If the interaction starts way too good it can actually be counter productive since the momentum works against you, you start with strong emotions and then it doesn’t go anywhere the girl will think it died and she will feel more nervous about meeting up. If it starts decent and then it gets better that’s when things go really well. So yes Todd just doesn’t like to make it as sexual unless he knows he can go all the way when the logistics allow it.

Yeah I think your bang on with this breakdown. Todds got a lot of really good technical skills and he uses these well. But his vibe can be a bit feminine and he reacts to the girl too much like with the exaggerated laughter and the "cute boy" lines are cringe af. Someone like Julien for example would not react like that and always establishes a very strong man to woman frame. The girls are always reacting strongly to him. Julien's game can obviously sometimes be polarising because it can be a lot more sexual and he tends to get more strongly physical with the girl early on but no girl would ever put him just in the "social guy category". But very nice breakdown

Disagreements: #1 he's not over-complicating, he's being different. When was the last time someone told her she's absolutely compelling? Like, never. #2 the "last night in town" approach you favor is awesome for Vegas, not for a non-party city. I don't think that would've gone well there. #3 he did the right thing not sexualizing when she said the street corner thing. She had just thanked him, he played it slowly and safely. What do most guys do right after a girl says "thank you" in reference to approaching her? Not what he did. And this is where I get bored and leave. Definitely not his best infield.

Which is not effective especially for guys with minority background like Asian or Indian guys. I have found that ever since I adopted a more polarizing and physical approach taught by justin Wayne my results have improved significantly. He even dismisses attraction material in videos like 'never do pushpull' etc. Which means he's really relying on strong 'yes girls'. He seems to think his 'objection lines' are good enough haha. LIke imagine trying to kiss a girl and she's like 'Oh no. Sorry. I' don't want to kiss you. I'm not attracted to you'' and he's all 'Like ''Attraction is just a feeling blablabla'' and then tries again. He's a dreamer.A girl simply won't comply up too a certain point without attracted. He wasn’t the most on his game and didn’t get a handy on the spot but he was able to move the relationships forward to the next point. And that means another venue and another chance. Out of the million Todd V videos out there he finds the three biggest ones he can pick a bone with. Coincidental, I think not. Context is also missing here. Most of this footage is shot for the immersion program where Todd is doing the social close because he has a group of beginners who can potentially act as a wingman later. That’s honestly interesting. I found that social closes work for me a lot. If you build tension before hand it turns into a “let’s sneak out of here for then night/let’s go off on our own really quick” type of situation. Like I won’t say the close always works but when it does work I think I’m like 70/80% at ending the night with sex 🤔🤔 curious to hear others results

I have done that one time it worked quite well but may it was the girl. how you transist at the social event or have you a special value organizer, dj or something similar?
@itsFLIP
@itsFLIP 2 жыл бұрын
@@MichaTheLight I think the key is making the transition to leaving the event or sneaking out at a lul in the action or at a more natural conclusion. Ex: i invited a girl to a concert I had met a week earlier at a party. She brought a few friends and I had 2 of my friends with me. Logically we went to the show to see the main performer so my only options to make anything happen were well Before or just after it reached its climax(main performer). Tldr after 45 mins in-line, 30 minutes standing around pulling her to the bathroom during a low investment moment in the action durning the opening act who naturally we didn’t care about. The main thing is, if she really showed interest on meeting and you made the social close you’re going to have to spend time over text or the beginning of the night building tension and re-communicating value. But if the interest was genuine, you’re not needy and you hold the frame from the meeting all the way to the second meet. You’ll see the improvement🤷🏽‍♂️

There's no attraction from any of the girls in 95% of sets, but he always calls it a 'pull' lol. He basically advocates against using game (has videos saying to never pushpull for example. His whole method is built on escalating on the girl, and then if she rejects it, he 'solves' her objection using one of his 'objection lines' and then in his mind that's it. Move on to the next stage!! haha. It's like he thinks girls are robots without emotions and he can just 'solve' the fact that she doesn't want to kiss him or isn't remotely attracted with an 'objection line' to solve the issue. That's not how it works. YOu can solve an objection like 'I have to be up early tomorrow' with an objection line, but you can't solve ''I'm not attracted to you' with one of his lines lol. You are right about one thing, yes he lacks some masculinity and you are also missing some points here, first fancy has nothing to do with intelligence, second thing is that he approaches very attractive girls which are too confident and "fancy" and high level and they have standards and if you approach them you need to have same standards or above, not below. He knows psychology and he has techniques, he shows that he and the girls (which are very high level you can tell) whom he talks are on the same level. Third thing is that he has his own style which is very smooth and he escalates gradually not straight away, which I think is correct strategy with those types of girls and that makes sense.

I have used the social close because I worked with the girl and then after I got her number I asked her out on a date and then she became my girlfriend so it doesn't completely hurt you but she did bring up later and said why did you just want to hang out as friends and took a more of some insecure thing that I must not have liked her that much and I was like it's because we fucking work together and I didn't want to get a sexual harassment charge so I think you can do a social close and then the girl might even feel like she needs to chase you to get you to want to go on a date with her. I don't know it's kind of iffy. I agree with you maybe he should be more direct with why He is getting the actual phone number. Like we should get together this Friday for drinks. Because I want to see if we'll hit it off.
