This is grieving my heart. I was really happy that a ministry I had trusted was having Todd on to answer the tough questions because this whole issue is toxic to many relationships within the Body. But Todd has danced around each question you’ve asked him and not given a straight answer to even one. I’m not sure that he’s capable of it and I understand that you aren’t able to force straight answer out of him but you seem okay with the deflecting and runaround he’s given you so far. At one point, he stopped and said that his response might even be “too spiritual.” I have had a psychopath in my family for 12 years (I mean literally, not figuratively. Please pray for our family.) and the narcissist red flags (I mean clinical NPD, not name calling) are very apparent in Todd. He’s not evil more than any other sinner but I do believe after observing him for many years now and comparing him to my own daily, deep-end experience with a narcissistic psychopath that Todd is incapable of answering truthfully the questions we all want him to answer. Todd is not qualified to be a pastor or teacher over a flock. Not because he’s some evil man but because as he said himself, he doesn’t know the Gospel. His desire is to be important and be admired as a smart, wise man with a big legacy and to make a difference in the world. Are these evil things? Not necessarily but when you combine these motivations with his lack of sound doctrine, the absence of biblical teachers and men to hold him accountable, a clinical lack of empathy (NPD), and the ability to convince others to follow him though he’s going nowhere... this is very dangerous. 😔 I don’t want to tear him down but I do want to open people’s eyes to psychological disorders and ask that we all pray for Todd. He needs to be healed and set free from narcissism whether it’s a mental illness or demonic oppression or a combination of both. He should not be leading a church or a movement in the Body of Christ as he is now. Before anyone comments here that I don’t know what I’m saying or that I hate Todd. I do know what I’m saying, please read up on the topic, there are some excellent books on amazon about living with people with NPD. Also, this quick and dirty article can catch you up if you’re interested in reading it and looking for red flags so you can better understand. The article explains tactics used by these people and Todd uses most of them in his sermons and interviews, maybe not while screaming at people but not all people with NPD behave that way, half of them are “covert narcissists” who appear calm and even kindhearted to those who aren’t their direct victims. These tactics can be employed in a calm manner and work just as well. Please pray for Todd and his family. I am praying for you, your family and that the Lord can help uplift/comfort your grieving heart. You are convicted to speak up due to your challenging experiences. I hear your concerns. There is validity to what you say. I don’t believe it was anyones intentions to grieve anyone with this interview. I mentioned earlier that teachers carry a heavy penalty from the Lord. If Todd White continues to grieve people or share a false gospel. There is a great wrath coming upon him from God. They are judged more greatly James 3:1. Also anyone who causes the little ones to sin or stumble will face a great judgement from the Lord. “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.“ Matthew 18:6. People don’t realize what it means to face the wrath of God. It’s a fearful thing that I don’t wish on anyone. Be comforted sister. God, will pay everyone for how they live. Unless we truly repent and turn from our sins. Time will tell how things pan out for this man.

I keep listening to see if Todd has changed but every time i hear him speak his narcissism gets more and more pronounced. It is like he has succumb to a strong delusion. He invents well crafted stories to deceive people. One question i have never had answered is who are his parents? Where was he born and what school did he go to and who were his school friends? I cant seem to verify anything in his testimony either. The only vibes i get is creepiness. Black dark bleak creepiness.

Isn't narcissism a psychological term? There is a difference between the psyche and the spirit. He is speaking of repentance from living in the the soulish realm, and living in the spiritual realm. The "old man" lives in the soul while the new man lives in the spirit. The natural man cannot understand the things of God. I am encouraged by his testimony. I rejoice in his victory.

White states that he doesn’t believe he previously preached a “false” gospel, but rather, “not the full gospel." Then he goes on to say that he still doesn’t preach the full gospel. This is based on the lack of revelation God has given him up to this point, which implies Scripture is insufficient to reveal the full gospel. My question is this… should he not refrain from preaching the gospel if he doesn’t know what it is?

Agreed completely!! I don't doubt he believes but I absolutely doubt his ability to teach and shepard the flock. He is all about personal revelation rather than the true and living word of God! The gospel IS sufficient! He has alot of growing to do and I truly hope he steps down from teaching rather than moving forward to start a church and being a preacher. He claims God told him to do this but I can't imagine God telling anyone who doesn't clearly know the full gospel and who twists the word of God to be a preacher and to start a church! He is hearing from someone, but it isn't God. That or he is just hearing from himself and attributing it to God.

I think he’s trying to show that we can increase in the depth of the mystery once hidden, but Is now revealed; the Gospel. From the point of view of being "seated in Christ in the heavenlies" (Ephesians 2:6), the Christian's true home is above error. 1st John testifies loudly, "he (or what) is born of God does not sin.." (3:9). And again, such bombs are dropped on us who think on sin too much: "As for you, the anointing which you have received from him abides in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you, but as this same anointing doth teach you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie (not of falsehood), even as it has taught you, you shall remain in him." (2:27). We need to chew on and digest such verses as these as well as Romans 3-10. Otherwise, we risk focusing too much on "forensics" and not the practicalities of the Christian life. When a man walks in the anointing and it is genuine, we need to take heed as we would to Christ, for the anointing is Christ.

Praying for him but repentance also includes: -Apologize for slandering American Gospel as "demonic" & lying about them not reaching out 1st. -Issue a correction on sinless perfection -Issue a correction that you can claim someone's salvation for them -Issue a correction where u taught Jesus was further tortured in Hell -Distance from heretics. At the very least clarify stance on Copeland. If you cant see through Copleand, discernment is lacking. -Stop the leg lengthening gimmick. Admit you lied and are sorry. -Admit the "Harrisburg pastor" w/ polio story was made up. This pastor does not exist. -Admit the knee injury story was made up as he gave conflicting stories. -Take a break from preaching to learn under qualified teachers ... then the fruits of repentance will be visible, God will be glorified, and we can all cheer you on.

Shucks. These comments are very sad to see. There is no grace or attempt to understand. People have let their pre conceptions to cloud what he is saying. So I'm assuming the comment section people have arrived and they know all things clearly, that they can actually comprehend every aspect of the Gospel. God forbid I think of myself more highly than I ought to. I should never think that I have figured everything out and that I have arrived. Instead I should have a humility because I'm not going to be perfect on every topic. And when I recognise my blindness, I "repent" which means I change my mind. I renew my mind. I think Todd exemplifies that kind of humility. Ok? But the point of him saying that is that he doesn't just study scripture just so he can preach a message. But he allows Holy Spirit to lead him, we read the scripture to know God more not to preach a message. When you live in intimacy with God you can preach a message that you are living. A lot of preachers have the headknowledge but not many apply it. Knowledge tends to make us proud ans arrogant, but if we know love it builds up. Knowledge puffs up, but lovr builds up.

Brothers, you mention precise language being important. Please keep that in mind when you say things like, “I’m honoured to have you here.” I can see that you like Todd as a person, he seems like a very nice man. But you are ministers of truth in the public eye and I’m asking you to be careful not to assign honour to men who teach heresy in the name of Jesus and lead His children astray into error. I hope I’m not being harsh, it just really stands out to me that it’s important not to build up these men who do this. They’re to be marked and avoided, not honoured. We can love them by praying for them but as Costi Hinn does not even have Christmas dinner with his uncle, Benny, you should not lift Todd up as a man of God in any way as a pastor or teacher to be trusted. I understand that you’re trying to weed through the yuck that’s surrounding the Todd White controversy here but doing that while treating him like an honoured man of God does no one any good. Have you ever listened to Costi or do you just judge him because you like Benny Hinn? Costi is an excellent biblical teacher. He’s very kind and he loves his uncle. It isn't confusing at all. He has equipped many people including myself to share Jesus with people. I have been encouraged and helped greatly by his teachings of our identity in Christ and intimacy with God. And I have been able to go out on the streets, pray and share the Gospel with people.

I've always been wary of Todd White, but thought I'd watch anyway. I thought he's actually quite genuine and sincere, and seemed to have a genuine relationship with Christ. As it went along though, I noticed everything was about himself. If someone spends hours a day praying theres no chance they'd be talking about themselves so much. I'm reminded of Leonard ravenhill who was also known to pray hours a day. I dont recall a single interview with him or sermon he preached where all he spoke about what was God was doing in his life. What he spoke about was the actual gospel and the world's need for salvation and redemption, and warning the church of the consequences of lukewarmness. Completely the opposite......

Just because a person speaks only about God in an interview, doesn’t necessarily make them more Godly. Sometimes that can be deflection or false humility. We wouldn’t really know. Ravenhill, Wilkerson, Spurgeon, etc. The difference in their preaching to his is like the proverbial chalk and cheese. Obviously God pruned them constantly also, and what they preached reflected that. I've watched many interviews with Wilkerson and ravenhill, and somehow the conversation always headed towards Christ, without it being self righteous or forced. I've watched a few Todd white sermons now, and it's always about what God is doing in his life.

I don’t know why this bothered me so much but I truly pray God clear and heal his nasal passages or sinuses. Also I think it’s great that God is healing Todd’s mind. I noticed that Todd does this thing where he regurgitates relevant Scriptures and then completely switches with no segue into testimonial preaching. I'm not tryna nitpick, it's just weird and a bit confusing. in saying that, the fact that he endorses Dan Mohler is not a good sign. Dan is a sinless perfection heretic who refuses to repent of his doctrine of demons. at least Todd actually sees that he needs to repent and be taught sound doctrine. I keep Todd in my prayers, I believe that he's genuine & childlike, but maybe a bit simple. his recent prophetic word for the church was a declaration of failure of the people filled with pessimism though. he also accentuates and dramatizes the Christian walk, as if catechising into narcissism. the good works that we are called to is living for Christ in our daily lives, loving our wives & children etc. you don't have to be a "super-Christian" that always hears amazing revelation from God and seeing miracles and doing missions all of the time. all that stuff is good, but we shouldn't be putting so much extra limelight on it in my opinion. I still wouldn't endorse this man's teachings to anyone, but I'm hopeful for his journey.

So how does Todd White preach "another gospel?" And how is he like those to whom Paul refers in Galatians 1. In context, Paul is talking about Judaizers, those who teach justification by law and not the grace of Christ. There's no other reasonable interpretation. I agree that legalism is an awful heresy, but I find Calvinists like John MacArthur more guilty on this account that Todd White. Please reply. Have I misunderstood your position?

I keep coming back to this interview. I can’t explain what a sadness it is. Brothers, your thumbnail says that “Todd explains his repentance” but can you watch your footage and honestly say that he gave an explanation? If you edit out the rabbit trails, musings, the unrelated anecdotes, the clever sound bites, and the out of context Scriptures in his response to your request for an explanation... and only watched what was left... did he explain his “repentance”? When someone makes a claim, “I repent of ABC.” and their audience asks for an explanation, it is not unreasonable to expect that the explanation be clear, honest, easy to understand, and in the case of a pastor biblically sound. Todd offered his statement to the public and is now unable to support his claim with a reasonable explanation or evidence. I’m holding out hope that in your last video, you all got serious and asked direct doctrinal and theological questions. I hope that you held this pastor’s feet to the fire for the sake of the thousands of people who follow him and his doctrines and the thousands more who watch your channel and are now exposed to his teachings. Those who, from the impression of these interviews, now think he’s a great guy and they should follow after him too. As you said, you took your own daughter to his church to be healed (I almost fell off my chair when I heard that). I pray that you squeezed direct, truthful answers out of him and not more of this very nice backstage pass style interview with a celebrity. I really like you guys but I’m so sad. 😔

I think apart of what we are seeing is his heart for God and people. Todds's conversion was a very miraculous experience for him and because of it, has kinda gotten big giving his testimony. He witnesses to a lot of people and has probably found that it's easier to talk about his own horrible life without Jesus, than try to make people understand how much they need Christ. I know when I witness to people that they can feel like it's an attack sometimes to just talk about their sin and how they need Jesus, but when I then say, "I sin and I'm not perfect," or I give my testimony, they begin to see my heart and where I am coming from. They can see Jesus in us and His love for them too.

Brothers and Sisters, Todd White sincerely loves our Lord Jesus Christ. He's showing True humility and repentance for not theologically wording essentials systematically. (Although most of us know what he means anyway, Including his ministry) He's still being torn to shreds. If Todd White was a "TRUE WOLF", do you think he would have given this interview the time of day? Absolutely not. This alone means something if we take the time to think about this situation logically, instead self projecting egos, and whatever grudges you have towards the man. Todd white would have done just fine, never having to explain himself to anyone, while still maintaining his huge following. I really think most of you need to take the time to study what other denominations, and people in ministry believe theologically before calling them heretics. It would solve a lot of issues in the body of Christ. (I'm talking real studying, not just going to whatever discernment ministry for biased answers.) A lot of you may have your theological ducks in a row, and quote bible verses off the top of your head, but where is the spirit? The letter without the spirit kills. This man has a heart of flesh and an indwelling of the Holy spirit. I know I may come off pretty direct at times with some of my comments, but I'm constantly having to defend my faith and what I believe from being demonized. Just for the record, I've never been into Todd White's ministry myself per se, but I've done my homework from a non biased angle, and have come to find this man truly has a heart for our savior Jesus Christ. Please, lets give this man some grace while he figures things out. He is still touching many lives, and God is still using him regardless of what you may think, and I believe that's what really matters. God bless.

Many of his critics will say he shouldn't be teaching, he shouldn't be doing this or that, but I bet these critics don't do anything at all for Christ. At least he does. Most "Christians" sit around and don't do anything. Play video games, mess around on their phone, and watch TV. Never even mention the name of Jesus at work or anywhere. My former husband knew the book but jad no relationship with Jesus. He was an addict and in rehab he learned the Good book, he read it front to back but he would always say why does God speak to you and not me? I believe he wouldn't fully let Jesus in and therefore he was book smart without relation with the father. This affected his walk deeply as he was often a hypocrite and judgemental of everyone. Unfortunately he succumbed to his addiction and died in a tragic vehicle accident high on several narcotics leaving behind his daughters and me...his only friend for the past 25 years

Great video again! I can't thank you enough you for making this interview with Todd. To be honest, when I first saw a few (mostly out of context) clips from his sermons, I completely wrote him off, as somebody who distorts the Bible (and probably because I find Kenneth Copeland to be very...odd). But it's good to see that as far I understand, he got the basics (Hebrews 6) right, and that you can feel his genuine love for Jesus. Does he talk a lot about himself? Yes. But for Pete's sake, this is an interview, and the questions were aimed at him, questions which aim for personal matters. Does he forget to mention the Person who helped him to be a constantly growing and fruitful individual? Definitely not. And that is what actually matters. Also, I was wondering if you guys (The Remnant Radio) could do a few episodes on antijudaism, antinomianism, and the "fear of the Lord"? (About the latter I heard a lot in our church lately, and to sum it up: an awesome topic. To get the full truth of the gospel, one must, at the very least read the entire New Testament, written by multiple authors. Did any one author have the full revelation? No! God forbid I think of myself more highly than I ought to. I should never think that I have figured everything out and that I have arrived. Instead I should have a humility because I'm not going to be perfect on every topic. And when I recognise my blindness, I "repent" which means I change my mind. I renew my mind. @@theprofitdare3704 Well yeah, he doesnt study for a message. What does he mean? He means that he doesn't write a structured 5 point sermon, he relies on the Holy Spirit to put a topic on his heart. Todd might preach on Knowing God and that doesn't require that you write a structured public speech, it requires you live it out and that you know what Gods word says about it. He makes a great point, we don't read Scripture to gain more headknowledge, we read Scripture to Know Him. When Peter spoke at Pentecost in the book of Acts, did he write out and study scripture to write a message? Our did he rely on Holy Spirit to lead him? Likewise we should rely on the Holy Spirit to lead us and give us utterance. We can't rely on our small human minds, we must live a life of dependence on God. God bless.

Todd self-virtuously explains that God pruning him was actually a reward for his good works, but a “tough reward.” But the thing is, he was absolutely teaching a false gospel at worst, and only half the gospel at best. Making excuses isn’t part of repentance, or am I wrong? It’s important that we discern the false teachers from Christ’s true disciples. I was looking at the multimillion dollar mansion Todd White lives in, and everything makes sense now.

You can hear that Todd sincerely loves the Lord & that is the best start one can have. While I disagree with him on some important issues, I wholeheartedly pray for God’s grace to come upon him & His Holy Spirit will teach him all things! As Christians it’s very important we don’t allow ourselves to exist in an echo chamber because that is a sure fire way to get sucked into doctrinal errors. We must be like the Berean’s & search the scriptures daily to find ourselves approved. We can not rely solely on the words & lessons of preachers & teachers, we must test all things against the Word. Good job guys here. I think this is a appropriate work to understand, bring accountability, and help correct. Tht said, I feel the sensitivity around the fear "false teaching" or "leading ppl astray" seems a bit conflated at times. I'm just as concerned that criticism could be pulling ppl away from ministries that could carry the very power of Jesus that they need. To think everyone needs to be polished is not biblical. If we examined William Seymour, smith wigglisworth, oral Roberts, Kenneth hagin, and honestly even Billy graham(I've studied hus life and his public teachings, discussions ect) you will find plenty of reasons to question the theological correctness of all of the mentioned and many more. Not to say they and others shouldn't be questioned, no all should. But that being said, God chooses to work through very imperfect vessels and we must be careful not to pull ppl away from that which draws them closer to him. Most ministries that operate with a strong focus of deliverance are generally shunned by the scholarly, but these are the minsistries that ppl need as much as line by line teaching.

That's a serious health concern. Since you guys are friends I implore you to help him seek help. As a Christian and human being I hate to see unresolved health issues lead to acute health issues. Look, people of God, the term "full Gospel" has been used in Pentecostal circles probably since the Azusa St revival circa 1900, as in "Full Gospel Businessmen" the group launched by Demos Shakarian, btw, ancestor of the Kardashians. Todd will even say don't follow him (1 Cor 3) but follow Jesus and that is his goal to get as many people as possible to look to Jesus. What I enjoy about this program, they're willing to interview many different teachers and preachers and peacefully yet critically look into what they teach compared to scripture. Unlike other channels that make careers on tearing into different ministries, never building anyone or the church up, instead just fostering critical and condemning attitudes and challenging anyone who disagrees (Mat 23:4). No teacher is perfect (1 Cor 3), only Jesus, and many of these teachers are brothers in Christ willing to step out and embarrass themselves to tell more people about Jesus. Like Paul in Philippians 1:15-18, ..."The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this, I rejoice..."

Theology is a term classifying the study of God which in turn effects how we think of him, the Bible makes theological statements, not theoretical statements. Theology is born out of a relationship with God, for those of you who are married you know what I mean, you study your spouse and it effects how deeply you see your spouse, and will intensify your appreciation for the deepness of their character and personality, same for God. I cant speak for Todd. But We reject the Idea of "faith healers". But we do firmly believe in the gift of healing as it operated in the early Church. For example God used Paul to heal a whole Island of people toward the end of his ministry. Yet there were times in the life of Paul that God chose not to heal the sick. Pauls Thorn in the Flesh (2 Cor 12) Paul leaves Trophimus at Miletus sick (2 Timothy 4:20) and Paul does not heal Timothy with a handkerchief rather he tells him to drink some wine for his stomach (1 Timothy 5:23). So there is biblical precedence for the gift of healing to manifest in a circumstantial way like it did with the Apostles. Sometimes God would heal and at other times he would not. The gift of healing operates now like it did then. Blessings brother.

There is a schism in the church, not just a small one, of a theological movement philosophically PAULINE, and a competing theological perspective primarily of the GOSPELS. This schism is far beyond the monikers "charismatic" and "non-charismatic evangelical." The fact is, those who emphasize FAITH and who emphasize the supernatural power of God, as displayed PLAINLY in the gospels, are generally far more kind to the Pauline crowd who loves to live in their heads, and frankly arent smart enough to understand what is actually going on. At the 31:50 until the 35:00 mark Todd describes in detail a 18 day fast he was on. Here is what Jesus says about “practicing your righteousness before men. “Explaining the intricate details of a fast is the same as describing and practicing your righteousness before men.
