Hello Patricia I am a former Early Childhood Special Education teacher and I also had a 9 year old daughter who has been diagnosed with autism. I have also used Sheryl ideas when I was teaching (ECSE) and with my daughter. I am currently working for a private daycare teaching 2 and 3 year olds and I and still using her ideas since our themes for the week are similiar. I found the printables very helpful when I taught (ECSE) they are great fine motor skills for our little ones!

Love all your videos!! It gives me ideas for my daycare, as I have multi age kids. I’ll be doing this around June or July. Thank you for all the work you do and all the freebies you provide. 🙂

Where’d you get the shells?! Also do you know where the ocean felt came from?
@Teaching2and3YearOlds2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sarah - Sadly I am not 100% sure about either of them. The felt set was donated to us by a dear mentor who retired from having her own preschool. The shells have been donated over the years from a variety of people as well. Plus our families know that when they go to the beach (we are on the west coast) we'd love for them to bring some back for us! I'm sorry I'm not of more help!

How cute where did you get all your ice cream and all those toy stuff? I guess I could Google it but I wanted to know where you got that and also your picture labels? Where did you find your really big pom pom for the blender?

Hi there! The links to anything that is still available is in the video's description, under the title. (Click on "more" for it to drop down.) The large pom poms can be found on amazon (search for "jumbo pom poms"). The ice cream printable packet is: www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Ice-Cream-Cart-Dramatic-Play-for-ToddlersPreschoolers-6916870?st=aba0100212aa6bb967f4491c0fb4f410

Do you have repice for the play dough THanks
@Teaching2and3YearOlds2 жыл бұрын
Yes! I love this one: 2 cups flour, 4 tsp cream of tartar, 1 cup salt, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 2 cups water, food coloring. I love using 2 packets of unsweetened KoolAid for the food coloring. I put everything in a saucepan on the stove and cook it until it's well heated and starts to really stick together, stirring constantly. I then remove it from the pan and knead it a bit on the counter.

Hello Sheryl do you have a limit of how many children in centers . Love your class room
@Teaching2and3YearOlds2 жыл бұрын
Hi Yvette! I tend to let the children decide how many can be at a center. It allows them to problem-solve how to handle a center that feels too crowded. Sometimes I might help them if they get frustrated. “This center has a lot of children in it. Do you want to find a space or wait until there’s more room?” “There are 4 children at the sensory bin. Do you want to come back later?”
