My favorite moment is the first second. I clicked on the video and immediately noticed that Nick is wearing more clothes than I have ever seen on him. From that moment forward it was in the back of my mind. Both of you are extremely clothed compared to the last couple videos I've seen.Haha

the animation thing with todo vs mahito wasnt incomplete just a different style i understand though not a fan of it either the yuji thing was the lines got darker the more yuji got closer to the breaking point the episode had minor problems overall. artstyle changes were done perfectly though

This was one of the most polished episodes of the season lol it's crazy how people still think art style = animation. the beginning part of the todo versus todo was incredibly well animated it was just very stylized and the reason why the gojo part looked like "jjk" was because the animation director was the character designer from season 1.

Yeah. I find it very disrespectful that a person probably sacrifices their personal life to deliver a very unique and highlight animation cut, only to be called "unfinished". I know its not that big of a deal, but still these guys have a decent enough following to learn a little more about the workings of animation.

​@@yatharthrai4658Yes that's true but at this point, mappa has so much of a tangled web of animators, sometimes it's hard to tell what's an intentional choice and what was just rushed. But, it feels like common sense that the beginning part was an intentional choice

lol these two clowns don't know what they are talking about.. Nick said when episode started, Yuji looking at Nobara was bad when it was one of the highlights of the episode is insane. Lines on Yujis face get crazier and crazier as his mind is breaking more and more.. that is just great direction and animation, but when you are looking it with the eyes of a clown it looks stupid I guess

This was one of the best animated episodes of the season, the beginning of the Todo v. Mahito fight (which I assume is the part you're referring to as "unfinished") was actually the highlight, one of the most fluid sequences we got this season. It looks sketchy (like it's done by crayon) and completely different from the rest of the episode but that's by choice. You can always tell when the animation side of YT starts creaming themselves over certain scenes in certain episodes. Though I get it, because of how jarring and out of place it looks, as well as the sketchy lines makes it feel unpolished. That's not to say there weren't bad bits of animation this episode because there were quite a few (Todo walking up to Yuji before he ripped off his shirt was very jank).

I noticed that too. Like when he wants to talk about manga stuff he actually asks Danny if it's okay. When it comes to legit everything else it's no filter for spoilers at all. It's really weird. Like he gets people don't read the manga temporarily but then forgets when the manga isn't explicitly a factor

animation was not finished it actaully was pretty polished. Todo v mahito at start was done by shoto goshozono the director abd is just a style. The reason they simplified the style this season so animators could really do any style they wanted to. Thats why ep 16 and 17 were possible and toji v dagon is possible and yuji v choso. all different styles in on show it would not work if they had s1 style. also dont know how your saying this episode is not as good or finished as ep 14 or 7

I think people forget that when a game comes out, regardless of how popular it is, companies don't typically make that money back in a week. They'd have to sale 33,333,333 copies just to break even when the game costs 2 billion and a copy sells for 60, which GTAV got half of that in a week. You already know they have to do patches, which costs more money, and they gotta start work on online updates, which costs even more money. Since GTAV is nearly drained dry, they need a new source of money to fund other current and future projects. I'm expecting $100 at most for the game, which reduces the amount of sells needed by almost 1/3.

JJK episode 20 had a lot of animators on it including multiple foreign episodes. The reason the style changed is cause it was literally different people for various parts

Thats every jjk episode, the production is being held up by freelancers who have worked on multiple projects for different studios. The series director specifically animated the part they have an issue with but just because it’s a lot looser and the drawings aren’t as on model in some frames doesn’t mean it’s bad animation

I hadn't seen that for any other episode this season so for me it stuck out. Like some seemed to be new to JJK entirely based on how their post where phrased. And yeah each episode has a huge team working on it. Its just I do think there were some new styles on this one. Which didn't vibe with Nick and Danny. But like I loved it. Episode 20 looked great. And like it wasn't unfinished. Based on whats been said on Twitter it was fully done

how is the fucking beginning of todou vs mahito rough, it was the most complete cut of the episode, animated by gosso, you cannot say rough when its not, you can say that you do not like the style of that sequence, but man people who do not know nothing about animation, the rough part was when mahito used two hammers, and some of the train sequence, although that scene was very vell directed and had good animation but, you could see that it required more time. Do not call gosso cut rought, that is an insult, you can dislike it ofc, its not for everyone but to call ti rough and unfinished when from a techical view is most polished cut in the episode is a fucking sin
