Essentially, store bought cosplays aren't always the best, and it's okay to make them if you want. Accuracy is for those who want accuracy, and don't let anyone tell you you're the wrong race or shape or gender for any cosplay. It's cosplay, it's not about gatekeeping, if you're having fun I think that's the best part. My very first cosplay was literally a three dollar wig from Walmart and a black shirt bc I didn't know how to do makeup/what to cosplay. It's fine to interpret and be creative with it. It's as much a craft as it is a hobby or a profession. I did a lot of KZbin searching and looked at wikihows for makeup, and Kuro and Oliver had to help me learn eyeliner. Maybe this would be easier in a video format? Lemme know if you want more structured information or more information at all? I'm always open for video requests and helping is fun sooo. -💜💜Jax
