Some things have gotten better in general. There is little to no corporal punishments and more technology has been integrated. However, many elements of the past still remain in layout of classrooms and teaching techniques. Furthermore, due to lack of funding for education and other reasons, more and more schools are choosing to lose the creative and hands-on classes in favor of the bare essentials. Socialization, recreation and phys ed may also be limited. It's not right, no. It's not the way it should be.
