Hi, I had an audio problem during the listening test a couple weeks ago. I informed the proctor but she said she couldn't help me with that, I had to continue my test with bad audio quality.

Hi. Ms. Yuva. Today I had tofel home test edition. I logged in 5 minutes before test time. and after the proctors checked the problems. They said I need another device because my laptop is not "licensed". I told them I can go burrow my cousin's laptop which I did immediately and joined them again. Now that they examined all the problems and transfering to another technician. And that's where the problem started. It's been 2 hours and nobody shows up. I already sent mail to them and it said they would reply in 2 business days. I do hope to get reschedule again. Tofel test fee is expensive for me and I can't afford another for a new test.

Hi. In an earlier video about the home edition you mention scheduling the test with ProctorU. Do we still need to do that? Also, my board is quite big so it’ll be hard to write on it without getting out of the camera’s range. Can I keep it in my lap?

Hi :) As far as I know, you don't have to create a ProctorU account anymore. The TOEFL state on their website that you must use a whiteboard or plastic transparency sheet that can be erased in view of the proctor. So it should not be too big. I recommend contacting the TOEFL if you are unsure whether your whiteboard is suitable.

Hi,in the speaking section,can i use the writing material while speaking? Like can i speak while looking to the written material in the middle of the section?

You are allowed to use your notes, but make sure that you look into the camera as often as you can.

Hi...madam..check in early means...When I ckick check in ,it takes me to ets account and there I see start test...So I should click on start test 15 min prior to test? After I click start test, there I see 2 boxes, one for equipment check and one for downloading proctor U...Do you mean that I have to download proctor 15 min prior to test?..Please help me..this is my second time trying home ibt...First got cancelled due to technical issues..Please anyone can reply too...🙏Mam please help

According to the TOEFL, you are allowed to take notes on a small desktop whiteboard with erasable marker or on a transparency sheet with erasable marker.

This depends on your chosen university. I recommend checking their website or asking them.

During the exam, I looked away from the computer for only 1-2 seconds because my eyes were too tired. Did this cause my results to be canceled?

If your results have been cancelled, I recommend contacting the TOEFL for more information.

Hi , I was allowed to look at my transparency sheet when writing. I just had to show that I had erased all my notes when the test was over.

Is there a home edition for the ITP test? Or is it just iBT?

As far as I know the TOEFL Home Edition is currently available for the TOEFL iBT only.

I had a problem during the speaking session and the proctor couldn’t help, they told me to reconnect I tried to do so and they didn’t give me access. I have been calling them to reschedule or refund and they ask me every time to wait 2 or 3 days. A lot of problems I don’t recommend the home edition it’s just a waste of money. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
