Thank you for your videos, they are really helpful! I have one questions regarding this one: Why are you answering the question 3 ("Using the examples from the lecture, explain what compassionate consumerism is and how it works.") with the reading passage, even though the question explicitly asks for the lecture? It's a little confusing for me - looking only at the question it should be right to answer without going into the content of the reading passage

You can find all answer explanations in this document - tstprep.com/free-resource-complete-toefl-practice-test-13/. I believe downloading and looking at that will be more helpful since it will have explanations to ALL of the answers, including the one you mentioned.

Thanks for your question. I would need to hear the full answer to be sure, but generally, to be safe, if it asks about a job, you need to talk about coworkers. Don’t give them a chance to mark you off for being off-topic.

Hi i have a question about this spekaing question right here 7:12 do i use present tense or past tense to state the man's opinion?
@TSTPrep3 ай бұрын
Great question. In general, you want to use the tense that the reading passage or professor uses. So, for example, if the reading and lecture are about dinosaurs, you know they will both be in the past tense. That being said, you can always introduce the reader and lecturer in simple present, ie “The lecturer discusses the topic of x.”

sir I've done my test yesterday and honestly it was awful.. sir could you please tell me how is the marking criteria for writing and speaking section.. I just hope I get above 20 in both.. In writing section the time wasn't sufficient.. In integrated task I was writing the 3rd body paragraph and couldn't complete it but I wrote over 250 words, and in acedamic section I was halfway through the conclusion but the time ended and my word was left incomplete.. I didn't even get the chance to check my answer if the spellings were correct.. So is there hope that I would get above 20 like maybe 24 ?? And in speaking I took alot of breaks in between and I was sluttering even tho I was sure that I was well prepared but I got nervous.. I did follow your templates tho so is there any chance that I would score 20 here?? i would highly appreciate if you respond to my doubts sir.

I hope you get the needed score.. Can I ask about your score in the reading and listening sections? Was it easy?
@sarah.safi1015 ай бұрын
@@etharnaser707thank you, I mean it's not bad.. It really depends on you yk like how you manage your time and how fast you are in reading and understanding the passages .. But don't get nervous and don't waste your time on questions you don't understand.. practice mock tests as much as you can! Listening section is not as bad as reading.. Just listen carefully and focus on main points, take notes too.
