Hey should I read the passage before starting. Does the time count there?

@@nzaralryan9768 You do not have enough time to read the passage and answer the questions. You can start answering questions immediately. The style is up to you, but I usually recommend skimming the paragraph quickly first and then answering all the questions connected to that paragraph before moving on to the next one.

Hey Josh, I literally got my scores just now and I wanted to express my gratitude because this would not be possible without you. My senior originally recommended this channel, and I don't really have the financial resources to take the test again, so this was a one-time chance for me. I have to say I solely followed your tips and practice plans, and this is what it all amounted to R-29, L-28, S-30, and W-29. Ironically speaking was the section I had given up all hope for. Hey Josh, I am struggling in the Reading Section (Inference, Purpose and Summary Questions) a lot after taking the TOFEL courses and practicing. I don't know how to deal with these questions. So, requesting you to please guide me.

You would have to work with a teacher to get a more specific answer, but everyone has strengths and weaknesses. We suggest you try a trial lesson with one of our tutors and they can give you some pointers - tstprep.com/store/toefl/trial-lesson-for-the-toefl-ibt/

How are the summary questions rated? I mean, if I get 1 or 2 correct answers, do I lose the whole points?

Summary questions are worth two points. If all three choices are correct, award yourself two points. If two choices are correct and one is incorrect, award yourself one point. If two or more choices are incorrect, you earn zero points for the given question. Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions.
