#6 is absolutely the most important point of all. After trying few practices, it’s more than obvious that 15 seconds of preparation time is incredibly short for this task (I can’t even do this in my native language if I’m totally honest). You just quickly come up with 2 or 3 reasons to support the choice, which also convinced me that using the template is quite essential. Otherwise you’re gonna stutter a lot while answering. Thank you again!

I'm so glad you like it! You're right, it's a huge challenge to come up with reasons in such a short time. Therefore, it's better to choose the easy way :).

Given the choice between spending weekends outdoors and staying at home, I believe that staying at home is better for two reasons. (show your clear position) Firstly, staying at home enables individuals to relax and recharge their batteries in a comfortable and familiar environment, which is essential for mental health and productivity (reason 1). For example, having a quiet weekend at home can help someone recover from a long week of work or study (relevant example). Secondly, staying at home provides an opportunity for personal growth and development through activities like reading, learning a new skill, or pursuing a hobby (reason 2). For instance, someone can use their free time at home to learn a new language or practice a musical instrument. (relevant example)

Thank you for this, it's very useful. However, one problem I have is that I have trouble coming up with reasons. For example, the question about whether going outside at the weekend is better than staying home, I would spend the time I got for preparing my answer trying to think of reasons for why either side would be better, and of course, the time frame to do that is way too small. What are some tips you have to come up with arguments for your opinion so quickly?
@juva3 жыл бұрын
I'm so glad it's helpful to you! I highly recommend thinking about your personal experience. This is usually the fastest way to come up with ideas. For example, think about your weekends: What do you do? Do you stay inside or do you go outside? When do you feel better? I'm sure that you can come up very quickly with two fantastic ideas why one or the other is better. Hope this helps :)

In the video task I could say that spending the weekend outside depends on the weather condition if it too cold I prefer go stay inside and because it will make me sick and if not I think going outside is the better choice because it will be good to my health. Am I right or missed understand it ? .

Hi I got a question. For the speaking task 1 is it always necessary to provide two reasons? Because for each reason I have to give an example and giving two examples for two reasons can be too tome consuming for me.
@juva3 жыл бұрын
Hi :) You should provide two reasons and two examples because this will make your answer more convincing. Try to formulate your sentences more precisely and practice that before taking the TOEFL. This should help you cope with the time constraints.

Hi ma'am I want to give TOEFL but can I give toefl after 10th and where does it conducted the exam offline or online ? And please prefer some books
@juva2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sristy, if you register on the ETS website, you can find out which dates are currently available. You can take the TOEFL in the test center or at home (TOEFL Home Edition). In some countries you can also take it on paper. At the moment I can't recommend any specific books. I'd recommend having a look at several books and checking out which suits you best. Hope this helps :).

Hey Lucia, you should try to avoid mistakes. How many points you will lose, may also depend on the frequency of your mistakes. I'd recommend working on that, so that you can avoid them in the TOEFL.

hello Juva. In the case of general question like, "what do you miss about home when you are away?" Or "Talk about a place you enjoy going to or visiting when you were a child. Describe the place. Explain why you enjoyed it." Can you please show me an example in a template format to answer these questions?
@juva2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sangay, you can adapt the template by first stating what you miss and then stating two reasons why you miss that. You only need to change the introduction because you need to say what you miss and not what you prefer. The same goes for the second question. You talk about the place and then you state two reasons for why you enjoyed it. Hope this helps :).
