BICROSSER (Episode 1)

Here dual new super heroes have come into the world. They are brothers who shall be called Bicrossers.
They live with their parents in residential quarters in the suburbs of the metropolis. The older brother Kintaro is in the Engineering Department of a certain university, and spends his time producing elaborate plastic models. The younger brother Ginjiro is a senior high school student who is a mania for personal computers. They are just ordinary boys who are under the thumb of their affectionate mother Katsuko.
But, once they encounter the powerful enemy, Cyborg Corps, they metamorphose into the Bicrossers and get into their machines to counterattack the enemy performing magnificent acrobatic action.
These two machines that come on are of a new type without precedent. The machines dock with the motorcycles and go into action. The coalesced machines are capable of turning into undulatory cannons that have fearfull destructive power whenever necessary.
The Cyborg Corps is also forceful enough to match with the twosome new heroes or Bicrossers and perform hard action.

Is this show Ishinomori's attempt to secure his place in Toei Tokusatsu universe in the midst of Metal Heroes hype ? The two were made so Toei could film them without the need of extra acting combat suits. Remeber that Each of the three Space Sherriffs did have AT LEAST TWO acting suits representing in - lore Combat Suits, one shiny suits made of chromed plastics were for close up posings, the other matte 'rubber' jumpsuits are for actual combat actings without concernings of the suits damage (and actually made to show when character's suit takes actual damages). Each Space Sherriffs might also have the third 'powered' suits connected with high watt power cords for filming 'laser blade' fighting scenes.. this explaned why Villains of the Space Sherriffs series must 'drag' Protagonists into their 'Dimensions' (the famous Makuu Space #บรรยากาศมาคุ ) and narrations of additional combat capabilities of Monsters of the episodes. In thruth these were filmed in studio with dark rooms with smoke generated by the floor so to hide these ugly power cords. To this end when Ishinomori submitted a proposal to make a superhero show that intends to rivals Metal Heroes to Toei. he got a term that 'The show has to be cheap'. since Toei invested so much in Metal Heroes and two other 'Flagship' Tokusatsu shows. With Bycrossers, The heroes were made to wear similiar helmets to Metal Heroes but with less chromes. and 'armor' made of simple plastics and in no way an exoskeleton (Space Sherriffs combat suits were I think a kind of exoskeletal powered armor). In-lore Bycrossers narratives were of that Both Ken and Ginjiro were bestowed with 'godlike' powers from a star god. (So Ken could simply lift heavy things including Ginklon , and could even stop moving heavy objects with little efforts).

Saudade da minha infãncia entupida de tokustasu até o talo!!! Mãe comprava fita cassete só pra eu poder gravar. Gravava tdos!!! Eu tinha uma colecão enorme de fitas só com Tokusatsu. Enchente destruiu tudo. Dói o peito só de lembrar. Bycrossers, Spectreman, Jiban, Jiraya, Changerman, Sharivan, Ultraman, Jaspion, Kamen Raider, Black Kamen Raider, Flashman, Spielvan, Cybercops ( um dos meus favoritos) Ultraseven, Jetman, Machine ManGigantes Guerreiros Goggle V, Power Rangers (versão japonesa, a americana era uma bosta), Lion Man e Metalder ( outro favorito meu) O Spielvan e o Metalder tinha estórias até bem tristes.
