I have had probably 100 or more pedicures. I now give up. Each one was rushed, uncomfortable and often painful. What they call a pedicure is actual just polishing your nails. How I wish there was a nail tech around here who was trained by you!

Lori, your work and teachings are superb. I have stopped to go for pedicure to salons long time ago. The majority of technicians do not understand the nail and its problems. They have poor knowledge and so far only one knew more than the average technician in Toronto I have been to. So, I do pedi to myself whenever I can. When some areas are not accessible to me I just go to the chiropodist and I get so much of compliments from him for having my feet so well taken care of. Thank you Lori for sharing your knowledge and experience.

I really go for the pedicure; that's where I need the most help! The manicure is a bonus. It's such a wonderful experience, I just can't go without that foot and nail care. ❤

Hi, Lori! I'm watching from Lebanon, Tennessee! You are so right! The "walk-in" places just aren't the same as what you do. AT ALL!! You teach, give comfort and maintenance and support for healthy feet. As a 25 yr housecleaner, I know the importance of taking care of my feet to the nest of my ability and wearing good shoes. I went for a pedicure at a salon that I used to frequent. This last visit, I even brought my own polish. The nail tech used rubber gloves that eventually were soggy, and because he rubbed some cheap lotion on my legs, he charged me $20 extra! Then, as I was paying, he took a stance that suggested he expected a tip. I was so disappointed and felt robbed. Never went back and have no plans to!

Almost all Techs doing pedicures have “none” of the skills or techniques you have Consequently I have given up ! As you know “ingrown nails” need just the right care and a very gentle touch ! I’m in southern Ca

I'm watching you from rural West Central Minnesota. This winter, my parents spent about 2 months in Florida. I went down to visit them for a week around my birthday. They were staying in Ormond-by-the-Sea, so they were much closer to a nail tech in your network than we are to the two who live in Minnesota. I enquired online, and I was able to able to schedule a mani and pedi on my 50th birthday. What I learned: 1) Even though she said there was no debris under my right 1st toenail, there must have been a spec of something, because the pain with pressure I'd been experiencing for 6 months disappeared. 2) When I went on vacation in S.C. in May I was almost rolling my eyes at the nail tech who did my pedicure. I have had pedicures since I've been watching you, but actually experiencing a "Lori pedicure" and being able to keep up in a conversation with a nail tech in your network helped me understand that I have more knowledge than a lot of people who do this for a living when I went back to someone without your training (it helps that I'm also in the medical field). 3) The mani-pedi for my 50th cost less than I have spent in YEARS.

And I don’t even bother going to my local nail salon for pedicures anymore. Different techs in and out all of the time. The owner is nice enough but did my toenails once not too long ago. She almost made it seem like she was annoyed to have to be doing toenails since she always does nails. Was not warm and fuzzy AT ALL. So disappointed.

Unfortunately, you're so right! Just had the one "pedicure" which was only nail polish application. Better served by myself! ❤ Still love watching the videos and learning. Even though I told my mom to watch your video she's still convinced there's nothing to do with her calloused feet and consults many podiatrists in order to have her painful toenails removed...😢

Hi I’m in Hertfordshire UK and I used to work in a little salon that wanted me to to speedy manicure and pedicures and always rushed me to be faster and I hated it. I loved it when clients were actually happy with the service, I can’t work like that

I’m in upstate NY,and I wish we had someone in our area that practiced your techniques! The last pedicure I got the lady used the medal nail file and cut my feet in 4 different places, didn’t tell me, and I ended up with an infection that took a month to heal 🙄 I just want a decent pedicure!!! I like cute toe nails and not having dead skin on my feet!

For some reason, as a kid, I developed anxiety around people touching my feet. My mom would get frustrated with my toenails growing long. I've only had one professional pedicure. I was 24 then, 33 now. She accidentally did something that made me bleed. I was understanding because my feet probably weren't in the best shape. She was very apologetic and honestly seemed a bit scared. I assured them it was okay and still paid in full. I take better care of them on my own now, but it's a little difficult with my big toes and the way the sidewalls are deep. I know my aunt had reoccurring issues too, and the doctor just recommended having her big toenails removed completely.

G Thanks Lori. Great transformation in only 2 visits. North Texas DFW area. Lucky to have a great nail technician. No cheese graters for me. Always taken care of my feet. My occupation required weekly travel and the company had a strict dress code. Heels and hose. (giving my age away). If I had any down time I would treat myself to a well deserved foot massage.

I refuse to let them.use the cheese grater. They're not too happy about it, but I stand my ground. I also have temperature sensitivity and always have to ask them to cool the water and hot towels.
