Dyche should have been sacked at the end of last season. His record is absolutely abysmal. His style of play, tactics, team selection and substitutions are also abysmal. We are a team without an identity. I’ve only been going to the match for 62yrs and I haven’t got a clue what Dyche is trying to achieve. He looks like someone who trying to engineer his own sacking. Who should replace him? I have no clue. However an empty seat in the dug-out couldn’t do any worse.

Post match Dyche mentioned our defence continues to be solid. Is he mental? We just lost to the bottom team! Our best player last season is kept on the bench! Stubborn, keeps playing his favourite Burnley players - Tarky, Keane n Dwight... injured or not. His own rules of dyche fit does not apply
@gavincunningham459822 сағат бұрын
The three of them shouldn't be playing...the treatment of Dixon Branthwaite and obrein is a joke
@gavincunningham459823 сағат бұрын
Dyche has lost fans and players there's now no point keeping him ..he will never change.... Obrein Branthwaite Dixon beto all should be playing or at least getting minutes ... 2 keepers on the bench but yet we have players like Benjamin and Sherif in the youth set up ...dyche is a joke The bezzie mates mentality and favouritism need splitting up asap. I want a manager to come in whos had no dealing with players we already have here in the past .. I didn't even want dyche in the first place..

@jameshughes932922 сағат бұрын
Dyche seems rather rigid, almost rather lazy in the way he thinks. He's clearly got a closed mind and doesn't see anything other than what he thinks is the solution. You look back to when Moyes was here, there were spells when he didn't have a single striker available and had to push a Tim Cahill up front with Fellaini behind him, and he managed to get a togetherness that had them challenging the top 5. Its called being able to manage difficult situations and adding fresh ideas to make something work that is NOT working

Missed the live but agree with the sentiment. I thought we put in a slightly better shift than the Fulham game but against worse opponents. Ped is right, this squad is better than we are seeing. We are a talented right winger and some sound tactics from an intelligent manager away from being a decent mid table team that can excite.

I think Thomas Frank is being lined up as Peps replacement at Man City if he goes in the summer. Similar to Moyes at united being picked by ferguson as his successor.

@DannyOConnor199120 сағат бұрын
We should have got rid of Dyche months ago. He's got a worse Win% than Gary Neville 😂. I said to me Da a while ago. I'd give Moyes 3-4 years to get us top half/Europe and plan a successor from the beginning. Preferably Arteta (I don't see him lasting a decade at Arsenal). That way Moyes knows where he stands and could take the Scotland job at 65 to finish off his career. Never mind getting a former player in charge who is a top young coach (also, I don't think it's wise to go from one extreme to another - similar to Allardyce to Silva in the past). But we need a proper DoF with a 24 or younger policy (maybe Rangnick? Prioritizing pace, 6ft, and technical gifts), David Weir as Technical Director and I'd try get Marcelo Bielsa to come in as Head of Youth Development to work alongside Carsley (U21s) and Baines (U18s), and hopefully revolutionise our academy. It would also be good for him since he's Uruguay coach and can keep an eye on Nunez and Ugarte playing their footy only down the road. It's a mix of people who understand Everton, who are there on merit, while also great minds in football to bring in a new way of thinking. It's also risk averse hiring a manager you know can do a job, before moving onto greater things. Rome wasn't built in a day. But we should aim to be the best we can be in time. Nil Satis Nisi Optimum.

On the contrary Baz, the notion of the Golden Parachute exists throughout industry and commerce in the larger multinational groups; not just in football. You work as a player or on the production line and for underperforming you are unceremoniously kicked out. Big-time CEOs and football managers are not part of the meritocracy, they get rewarded whatever happens and navigate from club to club / company to company serving the same rubbish until they get a hefty handshake to move on having spent their current credibility.

I would try a 3-5-2. Branthwaite, Tarkowski, Keane at CB, Myko & Seamus wing backs, Gana, McNeil, N'Diaye in CM/AM & Beto & DCL up front. It's worth a try. But he won't do it.

Dyche can't finish for them, he had a plan that got us 5-6 great chances to their one chance. He can't make the refs give a Red Card for the last man fouling, nor change the stupid offside rule that pnly comes down to when you freeze the frames.

As a fanbase, we need to start a petition to get him sacked because Dyche is causing mental stress & affecting the wellbeing of the Everton community. Then threaten to prosecute the football club for being complicit in this. They will soon sack him. Dyche actually thinks it's funny in his demeanour and complete disrespect to the club and fanbase

@niallhussey8023Күн бұрын
Should bend over bakwards for Mourinho. Throw him £150m budget + sales and an overhaul for a clean slate in the new stadium. The siege mentality he thrives on is tailor made for him here at Everton!
@emkiandthesundolls757Күн бұрын
Where have we seen this kind of behaviour before and where did this leave us? We need to be sensible and have a plan for a future project. In the meantime get moyes in. Not exciting but low risk. He can sure up a defence and will get us up the pitch. Dyche is a temu moyes.
@niallhussey8023Күн бұрын
@emkiandthesundolls757 Stop gap loser Moyes who can't get a job literally anywhere else? No thanks. We need an overhaul NOW, reset the entire squad for a new beginning. Moves will be more of the same, downplaying the club to hide his lack of ambition and inflate his own PR - we've already seen this from him and so have West Ham more recently, hence why they got rid of him. If Friedkins aren't going to put in the money for this than why bother? Mourinho wouldn't be on much more than the ridiculously overpaid £5m a year Dyche at the moment either.
@DrewBlooКүн бұрын
@@emkiandthesundolls757Agreed. Mourinho is not the answer and doesn’t have patience for a project. If we want to waste the next tranche of cash then go get him and we’ll do another Koeman. We need to understand what and where we are. If you aren’t in those CL places you can spend a lot of money on players not good enough to get in the teams you are trying to beat. Our strategy should be sustainability through player trading, having a bigger squad of much younger players, pay the best wages to the best young talent in Europe and make use of the loan market like Chelsea do to “shop window” our young players.
@niallhussey8023Күн бұрын
@emkiandthesundolls757 "Ambition" of stop gaps to stand still is the opposite of ambition. Clean slate of a new stadium presents a great opportunity for a complete overhaul and to build some momentum we've been starved of for far too long. Mourinho is the perfect character for this.
@niallhussey8023Күн бұрын
@DrewBloo So it's Moyes, mind numbing mediocrity and stop gaps with no pressure to spend big on the new owners? More of the same going forward.
