Branthwaites positioning and reading of game is top notch. You mentioned cultured. Hes like a rolls royce Italian center back. Stops threats before they become a threat. Then add in blocks tacles headers spreading karma throughout the team. He is the man.

He clearly is a very confident player. He knows he is our best defender. He is going right to the top of the game.

Ashley Young gets a lot of stick and deservedly so. But he has two assists in his last two games by cutting off the opponents play and playing a nice simple ball into our attackers.

He's a squad player but we carnt be starting every week nice to see Braithwaite back hopefully this is the kick up the arce and sees us moving up the table

A little surprised you made no mention of Doucoure getting absolutely bitched for the opening goal. Also, definitely undersold Ashley Young’s performance today. He did exactly what we’ve wanted out of him - got up the field and added a lot offensively. Gotta give credit where it’s due. Same with Dyche’s subs today - changed the game.

Dwight McNeil has been influential in his number 10 role.. just needs to work on his right foot though but I’m delighted for him today and his goals.. that 1st was sublime wasn’t it 😊

I agree. Reminds me very much of when we had Bily (Diniyar Bilyaletdinov) under Moyes. So blatantly obvious the lad didn't have the pace for the wing but playing in a number 10 he would have been fantastic, wand of a left foot, much like McNeil

As much as you complain, keeping our Premier league status is the most important thing this season even though I don't think we will be anywhere the bottom three. New owners, stadium and manager going forward.

I think you are under estimating Iroegbunam. His defensive stats this season are already better than Doucoure's. Yeah I know it's a smaller sample size of games, but the kid looks so good turning and pushing forward I think his tackling and interceptions seem to be getting overlooked a bit. His stamina will get there but, but not if he is fifth choice. He has impressed me a lot.

Mangala is a true footballer...i think Evertonians dont realise how good he is....yet....but they will. Hes improved us massively with regards to keeping the ball more in mf..n progressing the ball forward... hes a great addition

pickford instructed to stay on his line - i dont think so...... his behaviour and antics are similar to 2.5 years ago, unsettling to everyone around him.......lost some focus ...improved 2nd half though possibly Branthwaite presence and improvement helps everyone in the defence

I know its easy to say because we won but Branthwaite makes a huge difference at the back....despite the daft goal we conceded i thought we were alot more solidified in the middle...i think we are in desperate need of two footballing fb with pace we lack it badly and against better teams we get exploited on the flanks. That being said Dwight is much more affective in the 10 role. Hopefully he gets more from there as we cant rely on DLC

Nobody ever mentions the fact that the ball bounces of him 8 times out of 10...his touch n hold up play back to goal is so inconsistent... it feels like pundits always make excuses for him when in reality he is average at the very best...do you know dcl has lost the ball more times with his first touch and has been caught offside more than any other player in the prem. I know hes the only real option but id love to hear more detailed analysis about his all round play because it seems to get dismissed or unnoticed. Yes he can win flick ons but he cant finish n his ball retention is no worse than betos the difference is DCL looks the part n Beto looks awkward....DCL is better but my point is not by much.

Ped's wrong about Pickford. It's Pickford's instincts not a tactic. Because Everton don't play with a high line so would he be so far out of his area? Doesn't make sense.
