No talk. No putting it on for the camera. Just pure content. Love the effort put into the bodywork. Can definitely tell you care about the car

Hi everyone, sorry for the wait but part 2 is finally up! I tried a making this video a little shorter so let me know what you prefer. Should I make these videos shorter like this one or even longer in the future? And again, if you like you can hit the CC button and get some optional subtitles on what's happening in the video. Hope you enjoy the video!

Video length is perfect I think. Your work and video's looks professional man, keep it up!

Enjoying your vids but could you put what grade paper your using during the sanding process. Apart from that great filming. 👍🏽😎
@TofuAutoWorks3 жыл бұрын
That's a good point, I'll make sure to add that in the subtitles! When there's a lot of body filler and I just need to get it down fast, I use very coarse 40 grit, then go up to 60 and 80 grit. This is usually for shaping more than small repairs like I've done here. Normally I'll just block sand with 120 grit, and then once the hand sanding is done I'll go over the whole panel with 240 grit on the DA sander before priming. The high-build primer I use will hide down to 120 grit marks, but some epoxy / surface primers will only cover 240 grit, so as a habit I usually just take the panels down to 240.

What are your wheel specs?
@TofuAutoWorks3 жыл бұрын
The wheels on this one are 16x9 et-25 with 25mm bolt on hub-centering adapters. Pretty heavy offset if it were a daily, but I have other vehicles for that.
@rh2racing3 жыл бұрын
@@TofuAutoWorks I'm working on mine and have 15x9s 0 offset and hoping it'll be enough for my flares. I don't think they are as wide as yours but I'm thinking I'll need spacers too. Keep up the great work. Bodywork is tough.
@TofuAutoWorks3 жыл бұрын
@@rh2racing There's a great website to check wheel offsets www.willtheyfit.com. The kit was designed for a very slight poke on my 15x10 et-50 wheels. You can compare your current wheels and the ones I've used to show if you can get away with spacers or not.
