Your videos always bring immense comfort like seeing a bestie you've not seen in a bit. It's really nice! Also your ducks are sooo cute... you were a strong insp to obtain an iPad for furthering my art (in terms of not camping at the PC on my Cintiq haha). It's been very fun to lounge and art. I'm always curious though how did you eventually surround yourself with things you know you love and that embody [YOU] (sorry that's a weird question, but sometimes I naturally love something but in the end it clogs space and I overthink) ? The strong but not overpowering colors everywhere in your abode, the subtle decor that fills in the empty nicely but doesn't crowd ya, etc etc... I crave this feeling of being embraced by my nest even if it's just my room right now.✌😔 Nonetheless, thank you always for sharing your experiences with us !! Good luck with everything ! :~D

I think this series is the perfect example of a way to find your style, experiment with things that are well known but then add a twist to make it your own like what you did with ducks and your signature thin line art. Gorgeous work as always gabi, the pieces are so high quality please don't be too hard on yourself for not finishing more than 4 in a month. Also I love all your reasons for choosing each piece for all the months.

I don't think you would have chosen Starry Night for one of the 12 if some random mentioned it, but because your bf did, you felt slightly obligated to choose it and compromised your creative process, that's why you don't really love it, and why you hid it at the end of the calendar (December is where i was sure you were going to put it, and you did!). The calendar as a whole is fantastic though, Feb, May & June are my faves ^_^
