Toga's Legacy, his Swords & Sons. This was made to highlight the beautiful & powerful parallels between the men of Inuyasha, and the fangs & blood that bind them. There's precious little footage of Toga so I did what I could with what I have.
The subtitles are in the beginning as context for those that haven't seen Inuyasha. It's the point when Sesshomaru stops being a bully (mostly) to his little brother, revealing the first subtle hint of a protective nature towards him.
Images of Toga and Izayoi were taken from early episodes of Yashahime and/or the movie InuYasha: Swords of an Honorable Ruler.

Toga's relationship with both his sons is both interesting and complex. Sesshomaru, the eldest son and a full demon who actually spent time with his father, seeks to surpass his father, and Toga has to teach him compassion, especially after being put into a situation where he will no longer be around to teach Sesshomaru. Inuyasha, the youngest son and a half demon, never even sees his father, who dies on the night he was born, and Toga has to make sure that Inuyasha can take care of himself without him being around. Even Inuyasha has some desire to surpass his father Toga. Sesshomaru and Inuyasha have many similaraties with each other that they would never admit to, while having major differences due to their upbringing and what they are. In the end, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha do live up to the expectations set up by their father Toga.

I do love it when people understand the dynamic between them! The boys are both so proud, stubborn, desiring of power, and hide warm cores with standoffish exteriors. They even bully alike, Sesshomaru on Jaken and Inuyasha on Shippo, but I focused on the other parallels in their personalities, emotions, and skill. I imagine that Toga was much like them when he was young himself, and because of this he knew what they needed to reach their full potential. An excellent father, even in death.

Number one highlight of Inuyasha/Sesshomaru moment is when Sesshomaru got out of his selfish pride and protected Inuyasha from one of the Dragon Twister attack from So'unga.

This video is amazing, i love the parallers between Toga, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha. I love these three and their story ❤️ The relationship between these three characters is really interesting and could be talked about for hours. There are profound aspects on which not only their characters are based, but also many aspects of their lives and how they evolve.

With how Sesshomaru throw Tokijin at Suikotsu to impale Jakotsu with his bare hand, wish you had Inuyasha throw Tetseiga at the thunder brothers and then add the scene afterwards where Inuyasha impale Yura the hair demon with his bare hand. They're like brothers after all.

The entire video highlights their similarities, since they're brothers (and father). I didn't go that route since it would break the scene continuity. Inuyasha/thunder bros had a sword throw + epic defeat, just as Sess/Jakotsu had a sword throw + epic defeat. Their mannerisms in every other regard is mirrored, and it was no easy feat.

In the end Seshoumaru who is a lot older than InuYasha* had emotionally a lot to learn. Maybe that is a demon thing. I do think Sesshoumaru's hated of Inuyasha comes too from having a guild feeling about his fathers dead. The night Inuyasha was born Sesshoumay invited his father to a battle of death. His father then made some remarks that gave me the feeling, he thought Sesshoumaru had a lot to learn. Because of the battle father arived late at the burning. Too late. He barely could save Inuyasha and his mother and died. (*father died at Inuyasha's dead and Sesshoumaru was an aldult then. At Inuyasha's birth Sesshoumaru was old and strong enough to invite his father to a battle to the dead. Further more in one of the movies there is an history with Sesshoumaru and a human, who met Sesshoumaru as a child and is then an old man. Therefore I think that Seshoumaru is about 80 years older.) Inuyasha has the better moral compass from the start, but Sesshoumaru becomes a good moral centrered demon too. Both had a very interesting journey. And i hope for a lot more sequels, movies etc.

Sesshomaru is 900 years old while inuyasha is only 200y (But I saw at some place that Sesshomaru should be something like 19 years old in human years and he really looks young, not only by his looks but also his way, he's always so sure of himself but with a lot to learn yet, just like young.

"There is a picture of a mask on the wood of the spiral tree also minima clearly visible"? I'm not sure if that's an accurate translation, and I don't know what minima means, but this AMV wasn't made just to look pretty. The tree was necessary to tell the story of the Tessaiga, the reason it was left to Inuyasha by his father, and his brother's acceptance of that reason in order to protect his brother.
