Dr. Mustafa Altair, an interesting character of the first order, his narration of everything begins with the story. He is a professor and researcher in sociology, and is considered one of the pioneers of culture in Libya and one of the founding teachers in Libya.
He obtained a PhD in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, USA (1971). He is a member of the Higher Education Forum of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
In our discussion, he talked about his stories with Gaddafi, when he was a student and a teacher, and after he became a colonel.
He talked about education in Libya, how it became so valuable to people that people used to call the professor “Oh Sheikh.”
The importance of the homeland and patriotism for the old generation and the difficulty of building the state at the present time after the loss of the symbols of the homeland.
In short, I enjoyed every minute of this two-hour episode.
