Excellent!! The instructions that came with the package were somewhat confusing, which led me to your KZbin channel! Watched your video once. Followed your directions and everything worked the first time!! Toilet repairs are never conveniently scheduled, so to speak, so basically kinda having to drop everything else that requires my attention, when the time is available, to repair a toilet is already annoying, at best, from the get go. Having to make several trips to the local hardware, or the big box stores, returning inferior parts, or parts that don’t work or fit, definitely lends towards growing aggravation. Spending less time than it took to watch your video to successfully cross this off the “honey do list” definitely restored my peace, not to mention peace to the checkbook, and peace to the family, of course!! The Korky was the third brand of toilet handle repair I bought. I had bought and returned a cheap model, then bought and returned a fluidmaster. With a side flush toilet the directions just aren't clear. Third time I bought the Korky. I was having trouble with it. I watched both the Korky video and your video. Your video was vastly superior for someone like me who is not especially handy. I just could not figure out how to attach the arm appropriately. Thanks to you it took about the length of your video to get it done! Thank you!

Thanks very much for thid video. You have done a way better job than the Korky video. Having dealt for years with the conventional linear straight handles I didn't know how these arms would work with the arm rotating. The Korky video showed how the arm attached but not how it functioned. Cheers, MM

Looks like Kohler toilet, the lever mounts on that weird angle. These universal mounts are amazing. I use delta to match my faucets and towel bars.

This only works if you hold the lever down during the entire flush. Which is kind of annoying. This is because the arm barely comes up when you press the level. Other arms will come up higher which allows the flapper to float a bit and the toilet will complete the flush without holding it. I am pretty sure I installed it properly after following the instructions and multiple videos. I dunno I suppose some prefer it to work this way to save water?

A handle should only be depressed long enough to raise the flap, I thought?

@@rs4425 Yes that would be ideal but his lever just seems to close itself as soon as you let go. So it won't complete the flush if you open it just long enough to open the flapper. Don't buy this lever

Totally agree. Have to hold down the dang handle longer than usual, but better to self-repair than wait for the landlord to get around to it.

You need to lower that blue float on the chain to get more of a flush. There is a slit on that seeming black washer on top and on the bottom as well, which you can remove to adjust the level of that blue float. That chain is still way too taught. Also, i don't think the flapper seated 100%...you need to monitor the water level for the next few hours to see if the water level drops.

It's a good product but it didn't work on my turlet because the side handle hole is too close to the front of the tank so there's no room for the angled bracket to rotate. Just bad luck.

I am pretty sure this is the case. I can't seem to get mine to work without doing that. I suspect it's designed this way to save water. But others are designed to have the arm move more, which has the flapper float/slowly fall and drain the whole tank when flushing without holding the lever

I installed the same unit before I saw your video. I like it because it seems strong, but the construction is stupid. It does NOT fit all toilets as advertised. I have a side mounted handle, but the hole for it is much further back on the tank than in this video. So, every time I flush, I have to reach way back and push down on the back of the handle - very awkward. The original handle was facing forward, and that was very natural. There is no way to make this unit do that. Every time I flush it pisses me off that they didn't make it adjustable.

On mine, it can be oriented in four positions. I just rotated the lever to the up and down position to try that. Now I can pull the lever to make it flush.

@@robdude1969 OK. But I don't want it up and down, I want it facing the front. If you did that, you would have to pull up on it to flush - the most awkward of all. To fix it you would have to have two skews - one with CW rotation, and one with CCW rotation. It's a shame, because it is the smoothest and strongest design I have seen. All the other designs use a fragile complicated mechanism that translates the handle down rotation to an up movement of the arm. And because of that, they are all loose and rattly.

Doesn’t work. Real simple it doesn’t work. Lever arm will move up and down UNTIL it is inserted into the tower connection it will not lift the tower. I can only conclude the Korky replacement to be defective. Back to Lowes to buy a Mansfield original lever. Seal was replaced prior to installing Korky arm.

If the chain is too short adjust it by adjusting/lowering the arm itself ... Remove ve the red pins move it a notch down replace red pins....

Have patience with the adjustment and not put the whole toilet 🚽 through the wall, like I wanted to do, until I finally found the “sweet spot”!
