And also later in the manga, when Megumi faced Toji and Toji asked him his name, Megumi replied "Fushiguro", to which Toji replied with a proud smile - "Not a Zenin? Good for you".... Meaning Toji was proud that Megumi still refers to himself as Fushiguro and it would make sense if that's Megumi's mom's last name, not Tsumiki's mom.

Some extra info that was missed in this video (no hate): toji didn’t kill geto, not cause of his similarity in ability to megumi, but because instead of megumi who summons shikigami. Geto absorbs them into his body & melds their curse energy with his (hence why he can use their curse techniques) & Toji feared that if he killed Geto the absorbed curse energy could cause an explosion which could harm him. Also Toji is a take on the Buddha represented in his clothing as well as in his enlightenment he achieved when letting go of all attachments (his family, alcohol, etc) he doesn’t even care about money. He gambles for fun but isn’t truly attached to the result. But once he regains his pride in fighting Gojo the second time (which he wouldn’t have don’t before, hence why he said something feels off cause he went against his enlightened nature) that spells his downfall

Some miss conceptions here. Toji soul wasn't summoned his body can overwrite souls. Toji's mistake is initiating round 2 without a proper reason (he doesn't work for free). Toji wouldn't have killed Geto if he was shikigami user because of anything Zenin related. He would've killed him because Geto initiated the fight. He didn't kill Geto because he thought there was a possibility all Geto's curses would be released. Didn't want to waste time and energy killing them.

Megumi's mom and Tsumiki' mom are two different women. Megumi's mom (Toji's 1st wife) died soon after Megumi was born (Gege confirmed it himself in one of the manga volumes and several different interviews). Megumi's mom was the one who Toji truly loved and cared about... Meanwhile, Tsumiki's mom is Toji's 2nd wife and Tsumiki is from her mom's previous marriage. Meaning, Tsumiki is Megumi's step-sister and Toji's step-daughter.

Let me remind you... in season 1 episode 23, Megumi clearly says in that one flashback - "My dad and Tsumiki's mom hooked up, got together, and then later one day, they both vanished in thin air..." That means, Megumi's not related to that woman and that she's Toji's 2nd wife. Also Tsumiki is a year older than Megumi and Toji got involved with her mom when Tsumiki was around. So there's no way Tsumiki is blood-related to Megumi and Toji.
