​@@DPJTrump I think you should "hide" this video for the following month, or until your site is launched. I dont want this to get deleted, but many people and youtube are thinking that this is spam and fraudulent content, as your channel has less and 10 subscribers. It could be seen as a copy paste method to gain views on a secondary youtube channel. I would not want this video or channel to be unfairly deleted, which has happened with an account of mine with 30k+ subs - this is my backup with 3,000. if you were to go into youtube studio, you could set this video as "private," until the rest of your channel and brand has launched, to avoid any termination. i had wished I had done that with my other channel to prevent the loss of 30,000 subscribers and numerous videos, which I worked hard on.

@@suppressedv2849 true. although i dont doubt the validity, the channel seems kinda odd with only 8 subs and a good quality video like this. happened to me once where my entire vid got deleted because it was deemed as a scam or fradaulent. def wish I privated mine before. bro should private it until he releases more or hes gonna lose his whole channel lol

Thanks for the kind words Abhay, yes you are correct - the objects should be personally connected to the student. This is something which has become much clearer since I made the video. I intend to make a new version with those personal connections built-in.

@@toktoday7978 "...the objects should be personally connected to the student..." I can't see where in the TOK Guide this is made clear. On page 41, the Guide says "Students are encouraged to choose objects that are of personal interest and that they have come across in their academic studies and/or their lives beyond the classroom." But this is not necessarily 'personally connected', right? I think this needs clarifying.

Yes Marc, I think that they (we) are starting to clarify the definition of "personal experience" (as it says in the M22 Subject Report). The M22 Subject Report says "Candidates generally did well when they chose personal objects (a household object, an heirloom) or objects which were meaningful to them (a book they had read or studied, a statue or monument of a person they had studied in history or place they had visited, something from the news which they were interested in). When choosing the object, candidates should ask themselves whether it is something which could be exhibited, what the object tells us, and why it is interesting. " It then goes on to say that the personal connection could/should be used to comment upon the specificity of the object, and that specificity should be a "ToK related point". The Subject Report details the example of a Bible fairly well. I think that if we stick to the ToK related point we're far less likely to be pulled down on the personal connection in moderation.

i guess. its probably good to private the vid for a while then grow the channel with a whole bunch, where its a little weird rn with 8 subs and vid like this
